Hello, I am writing to inquire about the process of retrieving my certificates for the ARF administration. I held the position of DSP1 and DSP2 for over 14 years for my previous employer in Atwater, California. However, I have since lost my certificates and would like to know if I am eligible to obtain them again. Following my departure from that facility, I had been working with foster youth clients (STRTP) facilities for the past 8 years where I did my (CPI) Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training, set to expire this year, 2025. I recently completed a refresher training course with the same company. Additionally, I have received re-certifications in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. I would appreciate guidance on the steps involved in retrieving my certificates DSP1&2. I am also interested in any additional training or resources that may be available to enhance my skills in the field. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your time and consideration.

The process is long. You would be better served to have a clinical person along for the ride. These homes require a mental helath component. You are badically running a mini-mental health clinic. . You have the supervision and care side (dcfs) and then the mental health component (dmh/dbh). Each of these require their own contract. As somebody mentioned above there are many steps for each contract. There are also many steps to establishing your mental health program within your strtp, which requires its own written program. My experience (licensed clincian 15+ yrs, working, running, developing writing group homes/strtp) so i know what im talking about.
