This is probably not a popular opinion, but I enjoy the Far Cry formula. Far Cry 5 is probably my favorite out of the 6. I don't think I will enjoy a time based game. I enjoy playing and just enjoying a good storyline. My opinion of course.

I’ve played all the FC games but one of my old favourites was Combat Desert Storm. Maybe they could combine the formats so you’re hunting a terrorist leader in an Afghanistan like terrain. A mixture of desert and mountains like in FC4. It could have colleague rescue missions etc. You can have fighting wildlife, interactions with locals, not knowing who to trust, all sorts of vehicles. Could be good.
