Thanks for watching! Helpful Tip: You can save even more time by creating an item bank, in the menu click "save" and name the map "item bank" Then click "save as" and name your new map whatever you choose. You have now duplicated the item bank which eliminates having to set one up every time you start a new map. Another tip: To quickly delete the objects you don't use at the end of making your map on console, hold down the right-trigger and drag the left thumb-stick to select all of the objects and delete them at once.

Is there a trick to aligning walls when you make a building? I feel like I waste too much time on that and that there should be an easier way of doing it.

How did you drag a copy of the highway sign without just taking the sign that was there? I play on PC, so it might be different... Also, I rarely dig through the menus to find stuff. I either search for them (which, admittedly, is faster on PC, if you can do it all on console), click on an item and choose 'find in hierarchy', or copy and paste stuff I have already placed.

Metal Gamer This tutorial was mainly geared toward console, theres currently no way to search for specific objects like on PC. I duplicated the sign with the right-dpad. Not sure what the key binding is on PC though

I appreciate that, I was just wondering about the differences. Too bad there are some features that are missing from one version and not the other. I will try to find if there is a way to duplicate on the PC. It really saves time when you're placing a lot of the same object next to each other.

on pc hold shift and click drag on the object to copy it

on pc its shift + c for copy and shift + v to paste, but im using a swedish keyboard so might be different for other countries. but its the same buttons u use on other programs and software to copy/paste things on your computer, also quick tip, if u want to select more than 1 object at a time on pc press shift + x i think it was, haha shit i remember how to do it but when i have to think of the key combination for it alway forget it xd
