I remember similar type of criticism and statements being made about Saif Ali Khan with people suggesting he should NEVER do a solo film because he can't carry a film blah blah blah! All that changed with Omkara and a National Award. Today, after many many MANY years of struggling, Saif finally gets due respect. Some day, it is my prayer and hope that respect and recognition will find Fardeen too! Granted, he is no Hrithik Roshan of acting, but neither is Salman, Aamir or Shah Rukh! And they don't have to be! They all bring their own strength into their talent and have become A-listers because of their unique contribution. Fardeen has too. Besides, it is not a bad spot, to share a 'class' with the likes of other star sons like Abhishek, Akshaye Khanna and Bobby Deol! They will all find their way some day! They certainly are not FLOP actors as some would like to dub them! Fardeen has done a lotttttttttt better than cousin Zayed (he is another underrated actor!) and Tushar Kapoor! So he is fine. Not every A class star child need to be A star celeb! Fardeen is great! 25 films and imagine, I only hated 2 - and not because of him! That's A+++ in my books!
