Fareham Railex 2023 Part 2

On the 7th October 2023 I visited the Fareham Railex Model Railway Exhibition which was being held at the Fareham Leisure Centre , Park Lane , Hampshire.
This exhibition was presented by the Fareham and District Model Railway Club.
On display were 23 layouts and 17 traders with plenty of model railway items for sale.
The choice of venue was excellent and the facilities were to a very high standard.
Whilst at the exhibition if you required anything to eat or drink, two refreshment areas were utilised so waiting time was very minimal.
The layouts on display were to very high standard and all exhibitors should be congratulated for their efforts on the day.
Car parking at the venue was free but you could only stay for 3 hours.
But a 5 minute walk away was a council ran car park and you could park all day for just £3.50.

Titheridge Junction is certainly a great layout!! The shame is that it’s too big for my house!!

Another brilliant video, nicely filmed. Are you going to the Weymouth MRA Exhibition today? If so say make sure you introduce your self when you get to mine. I'll be flitting between mine and my daughter's railway.

The layout based on the Norwich area made me wonder why none of the major manufacturers make locomotives in Great Eastern liveries, which were Cerulean Blue and photographic grey.

Isn’t the German layout based on Cologne? I thought I recognised the cathedral spire!!

The pity is that the station looks just like Brighton!!

The Station should have the West and East S-Bahn Terminating Platforms plus the Division Wall. No Electrification either, other than the S-Bahn 3rd-rail. A brave attempt at it, though, and a good selection of Stock,
