This guy knows how to make his teammates play on their full potential. Amare and Marion were both at a superstar caliber level of play when they're with Nash. Even Boris Diaw took the spotlight for quite a few times. Now without Nash, they've just became some regular players to complete a team line up.

This made me tear up. I've been watching him since I was 10 years old. I was upset to see everyone go but trades happen. The only player we got back from the former run and gun suns was LB. Which is good for me. I'll always love Nash and what he brought to PHX. The valley misses you.

So underrated, had it not been for injuries, tom donaghy, bad management (let joe johnson go or trade marion) or a lucky ron artest put back, he could have had multiple final appearances and maybe a ring.
Oh yes, the Official who threw the playoff game in SAT. Prison yes, but may have been the cog in the wheel that kept Nash from an Championship title!

Steve Nash gave everything he had to the suns; blood sweat and tears. The Phoenix Organization made it clear to Nash that they wanted to go a different direction and Steve chose what was best for his career in terms of winning and more importantly, for his family. Any Suns/Nash fan that can't see that needs to realize this wasn't "The Decision". He paid respects to Phoenix, and it is now time for him to get a HUGE chance to win a championship.

I'm not much of a suns fan or Nash fan before him coming to lakers but I just wish he won a champion with the suns. It sucks how old Nash has gotten. If lakers keep playing the way they have been the last two game they might get the chance to win for the finals against heat.

Hey man, I've started watching nba with Nash, Amare and Marion trio. The first ever jersey I owned was a Steve Nash jersey. The first number I chose to wear was number 13. You can also see it on my youtube account. Steve Nash is my favorite player and I will be a suns fan for life. You know what would really kill me? Seeing this guy retire without even having the chance to win a title.

You can't exactly ask Nash to stay in the Suns when you're rebuilding though? He stayed until the very end of his career and even stuck through the 2011-2012 season. He's as honourable/loyal of a player as it gets in the NBA in any era's standards.

That's why I used that Craig Sager interview about Amare in my video. I don't think most people remember that though. For those who doesn't know, Amare got suspended for leaving the bench and Suns went on to lose the series because of that in 07.

Nash makes every big man around him much better. Hes going to work wonders for Bynum and Gasol offensively, and space the floor much better than Ramon Sessions ever would. I don't like the Lakers at all, but would love to see Nash win a title.

This die-hard LA Laker fan is ecstatic to have Steve Nash at the point. Gasol and Bynum are going to average 6-8 points a game higher than this past season just because the future Hall of Famer will get them the ball in deep for easy buckets. I wonder what number Nash will wear since #13 is hanging on the retired wall honoring Wilt Chamberlain?

Such a pity LA won't let Nash run the team like he has done his whole career. Near on guarantee they would have been a top 4 team in the West even without Kobe if they did. Pick n roll between D12/Gasol and Nash needs to be a constant thing. Kinda wish he had have stayed in PHX now. Spend the next two seasons averaging around 10 apg. He would have filled the US Airways Center 10 times over his final game. Hopefully LAL still gives him a huge send off. Call a time out and clap like MJ.

Man, I miss the Piston days of Rasheed, Ben, Billups, Prince, and Hamilton, the Suns years of Nash, Marion, Amare, Bell, Diaw, and even the "punchy" Pacers of 2004. Those were the days...now we have the Clippers dunking the ball 15-20 times a game like a few high school bench players, the melodramatic Dwight Howard crying after each game, the worst team in the league, the Bobcats, sucking yet again, Parsons from the Rockets touching his hair 130-150 times a game, and LeBron hugging grown men.
