The Tournament was riddled with jank, so many Decks werent even Seen...but the sad truth is Farfa fell asleep during this Tournament...ON STREAM.

Topping with Roid was a long journey... Back in LCS 9 I tried it for fun and went 1-7, because I got the bye in the last round. Perhaps the worst record in LCS history, you can see me losing to Ice Barrier Wetlands in that Farfa vid. It took many forms, many adventures, before I settled upon Ambulanceroid/Expressroid Rank 8 combo. I had abandoned the Rank 8 variation of the deck after we lost Alpha, a powerful staple, much earlier in LCS. Originally I switched to testing it because Draglubion existed, and Draglubion make Heart-Earth was honestly a better boss monster than anything that Roid had up until that point except Guardian Chimera. When Evil HERO got Chimera banned, though, making the Fusion bosses became more and more impractical, with so few generic options available to the deck that didn't just instantly die to various interactions and that didn't require a comical amount of resources. Eventually I ended up settling on one Fusion monster - Pair Cycroid, which was the easiest for Mixeroid to make from the GY. In all this time I have come to the conclusion that Konami really hates Roids, because all of their support is baffling. Why is Speedroid randomly attached to this archetype so none of the cards except the field spell that Fusion locks you to do anything can search WIND Roids, and then they make every good roid legacy support a WIND? Why is the boss monster so incredibly hard to get to in archetype, and then so mediocre, not even a Quick Effect? Why is the Roid Fusion spell terrible and only capable of summoning a few of their Fusions, excluding Barbaroid who can push for game and Pair Cycroid who is the only one you can easily make? Why do Roids have NO easy to make Fusions that you can actually end on, like can we at least get something like Ancient Gear where they have a generic 3 mat and a generic 4 mat that do something or other? Everything about this deck boggles the mind. It taxes my brain. But at least we'll always have Mixeroid into Armoroid

After seeing all kinds of shit in testing rooms for LCS, I can say that ally of justice is probably single most horrible archetype ever created. Arcana force, crushbugs, umbral horror, venoms, I can think of 10 reasons why even these archetypes are more playable. Apart from exactly Catastor (which is generic anyway) there's not a single good card available

@@devinbannish1469 It's not like they're amazing or anything, they have consistency issues mainly. For some bizarre reason the only piece of legacy support they got was crap. It's not hard to print a stratos with a built in double summon. Still, it's really easy to link climb etc with turb and storm. There's a reason they got used in an otk/ ftk near the synchro era.

If you manage to attack with it, you effectively Calamities your opponent and can follow up with Kaimen in case you weren’t able to summon the big synchro during MP1. It’s level also has synergy with them. It’s weak to Imperm, pop and bounce, but the effect is so damn strong if you attack, it should be worth considering. Edit : Wattfox is kinda similar but has to crash. That being said, it dodges Imperm because it’s effect activates during the Dmg step and in the GY.
