these duels are getting pretty hard to find any kind of interest, even with both 'commentators' reacting to the video. I've been kind of interested to see what cards they use from the recent packs since this is where I most vividly remember the format. But like all the cards are high rarity or don't offer a good enough strategy in the set to be better than their standard guru/orcust/donomist decks(s).

Cimo's overall victory is already set in stone, and I think that should be enough incentive for both of them to get more experimental with their strategies instead of going back and forth between the same 2. This is why even though it was a mirror, the Giant Ball Park episode was one of the best episodes in months. Cimo's Time Thief deck was a step in the right direction even though it wasn't very good. Gage got some sick Glad Beast support, he could at least consider that for one week. But he won't.

Once they got into the Link Era they should have changed the rule to opening at least 2 boxes worth of packs or at least maybe offering something like 5 wheel spins for the winner and 3 for the loser. It's really hard to create a new and improved unique deck with only 1 booster box. Another box or more spins would help so much to actually get cards you need.
