I love the irony of Mike reflecting on the dual meaning of "revolution" when it perfectly applies to him. He thought he was doing the "overthrow" kind when fighting the Gerhardts, but he was actually just doing the "full-circle" kind where he ends up right back at where he was before: An undervalued employee of a large conglomerate. He got his revolution, but it wasn't the one he wanted.

Lou has a circular arc too. Him and Mike both seem to end up right where they started at the beginning of their stories. Might be why the scenes they have together are so great because they're shades of a similar color.

After watching season 4 this makes this scene even better considering Loy originally wanted to be an accountant but was forced to become a gangster whilst Mike enjoyed being a gangster but was forced to become an accountant, full circle indeed.

I love this character and this love this scene. Brilliantly written, directed and acted. A point where a person has an epiphany and they see a truth they never saw before even though they have been staring at it for years.

I thought unlike Varga and Malvo, Milligan just spoke nonsense with no clear philosophical direction or purpose.
@whispersmith Жыл бұрын
Nah, it just isn't immediately clear where his thoughts are going. Here, he is responding to her complaint, that if it's a revolution, what does it matter who dies first? Hes after all of them. And then he thinks of the way that these cycles of violence repeat over and over. Def not nonsense
