Farm Foreign Supplies FAST! - River Raids Supplies | AC Valhalla

Locate and farm Foreign Supplies quickly and safely. This river raids strategy alternates between the two Easter Fortifications, on the River Exe and River Severn. Same buildings and enemies, easy river raid chests locations, find foreign supplies to buy river longship upgrades. Before returning to the River Exe after the initial raid, be sure to visit the River Dee map and then save-and-reload your game.
“Your longship can’t carry any more” means your cargo is full and you must Return to settlement, and Bank your supplies, before you can come back and get more. You can also upgrade your ship cargo so it can carry more foreign supplies.

IF FORT IS EMPTY: Visit another river, immediately return to settlement (no need to do a raid there), save-and-reload your game, and try again.
IF CANNOT START RAID: Did you already kill all the enemies? Then you can't raid this location, follow steps for "If Fort is Empty" above.
HOW TO EXIT RIVER RAIDS: Down on D-pad, select "Return to Settlement" and bank your loot.

TO FIND / START / ENTER RIVER RAIDS: open Quest Log, select River Raids, talk to VAGN in your settlement (must have unlocked England) to get to River Exe. IF FORT IS BURNED OR EMPTY, go to another river (don't even need to raid anything there) then return to settlement, and try again. Don't worry the outpost and chests will respawn eventually. IF SHIP CARGO FULL: you can still collect weapons & armor from chests as gear goes directly into your inventory. Thank you for this video. I just started River Raids last night and so far have found them a lot of fun... but I've always enjoyed monastery raiding too; it's nice that these reset. One thing that always disappointed me in the main game was after you've raided all the monasteries, that was it, so I'm glad they added more raiding content that you can play endlessly. Although, the long load screens are really the only downside... and one time my PS4 locked up at a black load screen and had to exit the game and restart.

The River Raids is the most boring, repetitive and time consuming activity in the entire game. My longship and Jomsviking hall are fully upgraded, my entire crew is level 5 but I still need 5000 foreign supplies to buy everything from Vagn. They should increase the amount of supplies you get from raiding or decrease the prices in Vagn’s shop. It’s so annoying and boring……….

Thanks for a great idea. I felt really over whelmed trying to keep track of their health etc. So much so that in the third raid I got killed and I lost everything... Had to start all over ,a real bummer. Ivl 80 when I started and I am only just coming to grips with the combat system especially using the abilities in the heat of battle. So thank you for the great advice.

I just did multiple raids today and no issues after killing ALL enemies...was still able to start the raid and open the chests

I been using fists in it the combat is brutal and badass with fist. The finishers are wow. But recommend be high level first. Lol.

On Xbox one, today, 11/10/22, you can kill all the enemies; however, you have to go almost all the way back to the river before you're able to start the raid.

I always kill all the enemies before I call in my crew, and they always come to open chest with no one to kill. I must be lucky.

Fast? Why go through all the loading screens instead of just filling your longship with 4 or 5 hundred? Not understanding, unless you die on river raids. If that's the case, I guess this will work..

If you don't have your ship cargo upgraded, then you can only carry a certain amount of cargo before having to return to the settlement to bank it. If you have your ship fully upgraded, then obviously you can carry more. I also think if you die, you lose the cargo you've acquired.

Hello and thanks for the sub! When you go back to your settlement you will “bank” them and so you can accumulate more than 200 by doing multiple raids.

The one bug or glitch I’m having right now is my cargo is fully upgraded but it still says 200 idk did I forget something or not activate something .

Remember you can still get more that 200 if you return to Settlement after every 1-2 raids (takes longer though)

There are no foreign materials at either the exe River fortress or the severn River fortress I've done both multiple time and got none at all DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS..

If you go to a Monastery,you'll get 150 Supplies☝🏻 and you can kill every enemy in every location,EXCEPT ONE Knight-Type Guard in the smaller 2 Monasterys on Exe and Saefern👍🏻

@@amber-gaming I don't know🤷🏻‍♂️,but everytime I killed him during a Raid,Eivor says "we're done here,let's get back to the ship" and I wasn't able to open the chests,because my Crew ran off to the ship🤦🏻‍♂️😂. When I killed him by clearing the Location on my own,I wasn't able to start the Raid. This happened only at the smaller Monasterys with the 4 guys at the Entrance and the 3 guys in the Church... Add: I played it yet and figured out☝🏻🙈😂 1. only the 2 Monasterys on River Saefern give you 150 Supplies - the others contain only 100. 2. one guy in every Monestary has to survive,fortunately,'til you opened the last chest - it doesn't matter wich guy survives,it has to be one. Imo it's only necessary in Monasterys,not in Military Camps - maybe I forgot one,every time I cleared a M.C.,I don't know exactly🤷🏻‍♂️🙈
