What a beautiful, historic farm! I am in North Carolina in the USA. Ireland is on my list of places to visit. I have farmed livestock for 23 years. Now just have a few sheep and raise and train herding English Shepherd dogs. Best of luck with your growing farm. It obviously is in your blood!

Loved looking at a small Irish Farm, we farm in New Zealand mainly finishing store lambs and have 40 head of cattle this year, who are grass fed for 10 months of the year. July/August (our last two months of winter) their main source of fed is balage or hay, which is fed to them in a paddock that has shelter and saved grass.

Class vid again lad. Yard looks tidy and well organised. The names for your fields and sheds reminds me of our farm.

Nice setup there. A nice handy size farm and go organic, I would think is the best option. I like the idea of a swarm of bees. Also the pond is supporting the ecological system. Maybe plant a few apple trees.

Just watch a video on hay cutting and now this. What a beautiful farm with so much history I would imagine. May I ask the ago of the farm and how long has it been in your family? Also the size of the place in acreage if possible. Will definitely be looking at more of your videos over time your grandfather seems amazing and looks as if he still really enjoys working each day. I’m sure you both enjoy the time you spend together and he can teach you so much. Susan

Good video nice to see each field has a name and history behind it you should get your grandfather to give you as much information and your surroundings town lands as possible you may not think of this now but in years to come its so important that you in turn pass it on to your family, this is one thing that Wii all ways keep our country irish from stories and every day life passed on ,we will Make Ireland Great Again, good man
