About whether to interrupt Shen's teleport... I think this is a moment for which it is impossible to unambiguously choose a pattern of behavior. The situation on the map can be very different and sometimes you are not sure if it is an ult for salvation or initiation... Sometimes you are quite aware of the situation on the map, sometimes you are not. We're just humans and we do human things, we can't always be sure what to do and what not to do... I think the biggest mistake here is to develop a pattern of behavior. If you follow a certain pattern, it becomes easy to read you and therefore catch mistakes.

think its more about wether or not shen is needed in the fight or only his shield. if only shield is needed then its actually better for shen to be interrupted and stay in lane. ofc if his shield is not enough and he can further impact the fight by finishing his channel then interrupting it is very good.

About the shen teleport, if you have vision of what’s happening and time enough to act accordingly, of course you should- but sometimes you get way more value from letting him go, if your team can escape and shen trades his ult for a tower that’s a win

Funny that you mention Ninja Tank In Final Fantasy 11 the MMO Square made all the way back in 2002, the ninja class was able to tank if you paired it together with the Warrior class not due to like high hp or defense but just the sheer amount of evasion the job had it would dodge almost every attack.

What makes dealing with Shen ult hard is the number of things were doing at once. If we prepare and program our brain ahead of time we can cut that list down. So to keep it simple, the less kill threat Shen has, the less important it is to interrupt him. You can let him go but ALWAYS land damage on Shen. You want his HP too low for fighting no matter where he is. If Shen is ulting we already know heads are colliding on the map and people might die, the question is will they die because of SHEN? If not we can let him leave and line our pockets. So the goal becomes stopping Shens kill threat. If youve already gotten Shens summoners, Hp, Taunt, you can let him go. 9 out of 10 times he can only contribute to defensive plays and even if he saves an enemies life, your getting CS, Plates, possibly Tempo, and he might also just die in his teammates place. A habit of checking either your map or your teams health after every 2-3 cs helps. Thats exactly what the Shen does DONT get diffed on it, it WILL make the difference in you knowing what to do. The only cards Shen has left in his hand at this point is to bait and that takes time to set up and execute, you get extra time to profit off of that. Unless shen is causing your team to die, chances are your gold advantage will give you better impact. Hope this helps some people, enjoy the return of Front to Back meta :D

It depends on what elo you are, but most of the time, I think it is best to interrupt Shen. Games at lower elo, it is best to just let the Shen roam, because their decision and timing at using ults are ultimately less effective than those at higher elo. A lot of times they would waste time and only let the team survive while not having any kills and not trying to capitalize his ult, which is bad trade. Games at higher elo tho, it is best to interrupt Shen because both Shen and the team are usually excelled at capitalizing the ult and counterattack, which would often result in kills or gaining a substantial lead. The rule of thumb is to always interrupt if you could. By containing Shen to your lane, you still have some control for how the game would flow and assist your teammate at the same time. Letting Shen go outside of top lane means you're risking the game to go out of your control in exchange for a small lead in gold or exp. Winning top doesn't mean you win the game after all. The only exception is when you could see a good trade for objectives if Shen is gone from your side, which is quite rare since most Shen would usually ult into fights for objectives or good counter attacks.

you should ever interrupt, unless its just a bot/mid fight meaningless, but a 2 v 3 or a 1 v3 is ever worth if the kill its secured and that means an objective or a tower, even protecting a shutdown, the best option is keep your team safe almost everytime

With interrupting Shen ultimate, I think it just depends on what you want. Do you wanna push? Let him go. Do you wanna stop him from potentially helping the enemy team secure 2+ kills? Interrupt. Thinking about it any further than that is gonna hurt my head, lol.

They did it for a benefit which is in no way tied to profit. This is why speaking about economic systems/politics/philosophy is difficult.
