Farm Aid

Күн бұрын

The Highwaymen perform "Highwayman" live at the Farm Aid concert in Irving, Texas on March 14, 1992. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.
For more information about Farm Aid, visit: farmaid.org/you...
Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help - what can you do?

I'll be damned. Jimmy Webb is who the song "Killing me Softly" was written about. He wrote McArthurs Park among many other fine songs in the 70's. I wish since Cash wasn't around for this that they all sang his part together. TY Trip I had no clue Webb wrote this beautiful piece but I am not surprised at all considering some of the others he wrote.

Lmao at Johnny Cash and a pony tail. Webb was good but no one sounds like Cash, save for Juanny Cash. If you don't know of him go listen. As for Willie, wow talk about haters. Willie is Willie not Pavarotti ffs. He's an icon and a hella song writer.

Farm Aid to aid farmers, fair enough - but Band Aid was NOT to aid musicians, it was to feed the poor and starving in Africa
