I still remember the first time I heard this beautiful song, I live in Italy, but it was a time where Neil was among the most appreciated songwriters, I immediately understood that it wasn't just any song, so I translated it and the teacher who saw that translation she was very impressed. she didn't know her. I became one of his fans. I was 16, I saw Neil twice in concert, I still listen to Old Man like then,,,,,,,

His name was Louie Avila. He and his wife lived on the ranch when Neil Young purchased it in the 1970's. Louie stayed on as a ranch boss until his retirement.
