Hell I've been using ether for years on my 1979 White and I live in Wisconsin! Never had a problem with it and I use it daily

Just take a test light from the positive post of the battery, touch it to the terminal on each glow plug. If it lights up it's good. If it doesn't light up it's not good. You have to touch each after they are separated. If they are all connected one good one will light up the test light.

Yea that’s another good method. I usually took them out to clean them up. I always noticed a lot of carbon buildup on them

You could also ohm out the glow plugs if it has ohms it's a good plug if its ol bad plugs

Did you need to replace the gauge to get the glue plugs to work? Mine just quit and my switch is good. When I try to touch the 2 wires that were attached to the switch I have no spark. What could it be?

The 560 has come a long way to see the before & after pictures of it. Did you get the glow plugs rewired yet? The 100 subscriber clip at the end was pretty cool. Stay safe.

I did get them working, still a little cold to do wiring
