Hooking up and trying to adjust these contraptions, the girls and i gave these things a test run in the garden. Enjoy! We never need a excuse to tear up the yard!

The only thing that would make this better would for me to have been there, I really enjoy children learning and living dirt old tractors planting cultivate harvesting, you probably made one of your best memories this day.

I guess I'm lucky, because I bought a 1 owner 1947 cub with mounted 1 row cultivator manual lift, and 2 years later ( this summer 2022) a 48 cub 1 owner, with also a mounted cultivator. ( also manual lift. I'm lucky because they all have good shovels. the 47 was set up perfect and digs real good as I go along knocking out weeds. recent 48 cub only digs good on the right side , the left side barley scratches the surface, and I looked the solid rods they hang on are set without much left at the top to go much lower , must be another adjustment. I got the second cub because the first one was locked up // I got it unlocked but the rust was so heavy in the valve seat area, that even with the cuting tool I bought, couldn't get that good of seal . I have to pull it to get it started all the time. 1948 cub previous owner said he heard about the flat head valves prone to sticking and rusting up/ he adds 2 cycle engine oil in the fall

These cubs are alot of fun and are very capable machines. I use my 1 bottom plow all the time to work up small areas. Thanks for watching👍

Hello Friend this video touched me right where it counts, can I just encourage you to keep up the good work raising your Daughters and what natural operators they are ! They can handle the clutch and the hydraulics 😀 This is the best way to teach kids about life and get them ready for what ever God given gift they have! I love to see this kind of activity so much more than video games!!!! Keep up the good work with the Cub and your family! By the way my favourite part was “ IS IT MY TURN DADDY AND NOW ITS MY TURN “ Great video just love it!!!!!

Thanks for posting this. All the cultivator stuff I got was just a big rusty pile when I bought it. A wee bit confusing .

Dude, you are missing a cap on the back right tire inside . Please next time bring us along installing the equipment and using the machine in the garden. For rusty bolts use .. anti-seize. Next time you have to take them off its easy

It was pretty boring stuff, mostly 3 days of heating and beating👍that "missing cap" is a shaft to mount a sprocket to operate a planter.
