Silver Kings tractors were built in Plymouth Ohio. Originally they were called Plymouth tractors until they were taken to court by the car company so they changed names. My dad had one but I dont remember seeing it run. The original owners grandson bought it off my dad and restored it. They were scary fast, like 45 MPH! They were marketed as inexpensive tractors.

@@FarmallFanatic he ain't kidding. I put 20mph in a previous comment but it was faster than that. My dad was in our car and raced my uncle down the field road. It was something to see.

Lots of nice pieces there. Plan on returning next year. P.s. you were PA bound heading over the causeway Ohio was behind you.

I looked it up last night, they were gray with red wheels, and gold or yellow lettering. A few of them had red radiator grills as well. They were called the Massey-Harris GP (general purpose) and were rated as 15/22, but tests actually showed they were 19/24. There was 3000 of them manufactured

The Super A sure does ring my chimes. The Case is really catching on among collectors. There is a stage 1 and 2 Super H. That one had the belly pump and the newer ones have live hydraulics and the battery under the seat. I liked the regular H in work clothes and the Super M. A 1964 706 has a C-263... it was late 1966 when they switched. The F-14 is very nice. The cubs are nice but none are better than yours... I really like the low boy. The 560 Diesel is the International. They have more than Wheatland fenders. They are a slightly different tractor. Fixed front and rear wheels. 18.4-30 rears and 7.50-18 fronts are typical. They have a different steering system than the Farmalls, and when those steering boxes are in good shape, they handle very nice. And of course headlights up front. I think using chains in the pulls is cheating. The Farmall A is not a 1948. 1947 was the last year of the A and the 1948s were Supers but still used the C-113. He pulled the Super A in too high of gear. By 1954 they had the 123 and has substantially more power. The John Deere M did well in the pulls but I would like to see it pull your 2 bottom plow in the field... I've seen a few of the 4WD Massey Harris tractors . The 560 did well in the pulls... There's lots of those International 560s in this area... We've never had a Farmall 560 just those. I really like the 1568...
