In stead of using a punch to remove the seal . Before you remove the hub . Take the outer bearing out . Reinstall the nut . Slide the hub forward. The nut will catch the inner Bearing. And the seal will come off intact

Hi Cole and daddy corn star , gday mates from Australia , the advice about facing the way you want to go is something that was allways taught to me . We grow hay and grain , when you load a semi turn around and head the way you want to leave that way you are not trying to turn a loaded semi in the field. Impressed the way Cole get things done with clean up ect we need that kind of clean up here , keep up the good work love how nice iowa looks

Great video bud, looks like you guys are going into harvest in good shape. Something to consider on your 1950 Oliver: if the voltage from the keyswitch is not 12 V by the time it gets to the signal wire on the solenoid it will click but not turn over. Make sure that you have a good 12 V at the small wire or the “signal wire” on the solenoid itself. The voltage can be lost through damaged wiring or a faulty key switch over time. I had that same issue with my 1800

Leason of the day. Being a HD mechanic/welder/ex farm girl/ good cook. Seals are very cheep and always replace the seal if you unassemble a wheel hub. Hint make sure to coat seal with grease and axle with grease before reassembly. Dry rubber on meatal is like haven ya brother pulling a rubber strip hard and fast down ya bare back. You get the picture how well it gets hot and hurts.

Iowa corn mafia is the real deal. Real people doing real work!!! These guys are the backbone of America! Just do a reality check, how many young Americans want to do hard work, long hours, difficult weather conditions and solve problems on their own? Not many! Most people would fold up like a dollar bill after spending a few hours in these working conditions. Support these young business men in farming. Thank you.

Hey Cole. Tell Daddy Cornstar to check the battery cables on the Oliver to make sure they are clean and TIGHT on the posts at BOTH the battery and the solenoid. I am speaking from experience here, because recently I was having starting issues on my riding mower, and sometimes it would start, other times the solenoid would just click, and other times it would do nothing. I was looking at everything else, the solenoid, the safety switches, etc, when just by accident I found that the positive battery cable that goes from the battery to the solenoid was loose on the battery post. I tightened it up and problem solved. Yay! Your problem with the Oliver could also be a loose or dirty ground, so check that too.
