@@AuzLogging7052 you should be able to. But beware of the resolution the DEM you are using. The basegame for FS25 is now 2049 by 2049. I have tried it with the dem from my own map and upscaled it. That worked out. But it is very tough so you need to smoothen the edges to make it look good.

@@Zerox4630 sounds like you have a acess problem.. make sure you dont have file synch programs like one drive running your games folder, 2. did you update game install directory in the editors preferences? this not done it will crash ...

@@FarmerBoBonKZbin yes my game is well connected and I have no synchronization program running while I try to modify the terrain here since the release of GE I try everything nothing works I admit that it drives me a little crazy, I think I will put it aside and come back when there is a better GE version because I stay on the spot because of it

Think all buildings can be removed, and you can start from scratch with a totally blank map, but yes we will be bringing it over to fs25 😊

Its the same as rain, they will have a few different levels which can be randomly run by the game script. As fog and rain is something that appears and disappear with time. So i dont see much use for adjusting that. What i have seen in game is pretty perfect as it is. 👌 😊

@ i found way, its mot perfect, but if i resize dem texture in data on 2048x2048 and import it into flat map it works. its not smooth but its good. i can import roads and set terrain decal atribute then i can smoothing all easily.

@ yeah I found that out, I exported the roads out of the map and imported into us map with no issue but I trees need to be replaced but the terrain when exported just crashes in the new editor, I also found the dem is now double the size so my old one has to be smoothed again

hi there... yes the growth file is not used any more, each fruit now has its own growth included in the fruits xml file, so check for example in $data/foliage/barley/barley.xml so to customize it you will need to reroute the fruits xml files to youe map by copying the ones you want to customize then change the directory in your maps i3d file

I placed your map in the Mods folder, went to the game, career, empty slot, however, that map does not show up in my map options. It does show up in as a mod in my downloaded content. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the PC version purchased from Giants. Not the Steam version.

I think I started it in FS 19, then FS 20, and then in FS22. But never got it finished. So, now I'm going to do the best I can to do it in FS25. I still have it on FS22, and maybe wait a while for when you, or someone, makes a video on converting maps to FS25. Thanks again friend.

Again thank you for the map. I wonder if you could have a look at the increased use of your system power to run Giants Editor 10? At least for me my machine suddenly have to work overtime to cool down using GE10. I never have that in GE9 with fs22. GE9 I can just have open all the time without even noticing in any way. @@FarmerBoBonKZbin yea and maybe I use the GE10 wrong but it seems a little bit more difficult to sculp small roads into a smooth surface. Looking forward to watch some GE10 videos soon. BTW, do you agree the trees are a bit lacking for forestry? No real big spruces but just some pines. I managed to import spruceVar01 from fs22 but on the modmap I can go through the trees, no collisions. I really hope we can get the spruces from fs22 into fs25 somehow.

There has been an update to fs25 today and as result your 2X map show lots of error and all my imports from fs25 directory and all my work in GE10 for days are gone. Please help out and expleain this.

In GE10 all my work was gone but in game everything was as I left it in GE10. It was the GE10 that needed an update on the FS25 update.

Hello, no information on how to make a 4x card? Hehehe.. no water, since water these days are all custom. But if you need a square waterplane, i have a few on the Western Australia map FS22.. just export that to your map. 😊

@@FarmerBoBonKZbin What does that mean...custom? I don't understand. Exporting things from fs22 into fs25 is almost impossible. Maybe the water is different. Trying to import trees from fs22 into your modmap with GE10 but almost nothing will get through. Seems like you need to make some videos cause the xml language seems different in fs25. Have you looked into it?

@@FarmerBoBonKZbin It works now. I did it yesterday as I always do for fs22 and havent changed a thing and today it works. It might be cause I hit the save in giants editor but didnt close the editor. I never do that in GE v9 for fs22 and I can start the game with the editor open. Anyways...I will test this and come back to you. It is unimportant though. I would really like to see how the correct way of importing trees from fs22 cause fs25 doesn't have spruce trees at all. I just copied spruce folder from fs22 and put them in fs25 game folder and imported them in GE10 from fs25 game folder and it works but Im not sure this is the correct way to do it cause I didn't change a thing in any xml file inside fs25. Thanks for the map dude.

I made 6 maps for fs22 from our lovely country, i will be bringing over 1 or 2, havent decided which yet, but only if and when giants has sorted the mod converter. There is a lot of guys battling the storm to manually convert, which will in any way be the case, but our main enemy in editor 10 is textures, which the converter will hopefully autoconvert.

@@FarmerBoBonKZbin I made 2 maps for FS19 that I just played myself. One was a 4x and the other a 16x. Seems things have changed a lot in how objects are placed in the map. I see many are just a reference to the standard game objects. Maybe I'll get into it again but not interested in big maps until Courseplay is released, or at least Follow Me. I'm not keen on driving multiple machines all the way to fields by myself. The AI driving in FS25 is terrible.
