Hi Dre, at home, we drive with a rotary brush over the rows before lifting the plastic, this brushes of the plants quiet well and makes it easier to pick up the plastic! Maybe an idea for you as well, not sure if you have one of those brushes, but works wonders for us!

Great video~ I love to learn about all of the trials you do. Please oh please remember Paraquat is linked to Parkinson's disease, I don't know what safety measures make spraying it completely safe, but please protect yourself and your crew.

You should consider a plastic mulch winder for next season. I think you would love it. We only have about an acre of plastic mulch, and I wouldn't go back to the old way. Well worth the $1,300. We also use it to wind up trellis wire, irrigation mains, 6ft deer fencing, etc.

Why not use the bio plastic mulch like the veggies boys use? Then you wouldn't have to deal with it?

It depends a lot on where you want to spend money or what you have on hand at first. Regular plastic where we buy is 104.00 per 4k feet. The degradable is 224.00 for the same length. Paying people to pick it up can be just about equal, but its all preference and when you actually have the money on hand.
