As an avid outdoorsman, this is my favorite youtube channel. Your skill level is unbelievable. The higher your skill level, the less you need. I would like to see you with a shepards crook and also see you attempt to use a shepards sling/ staff sling just as a fun video. Take it back even further. You are helping the whole human species by keeping these old skills alive. Thank you. 🤙🏻

Great video. I really enjoy these shorter more edited videos 😲 I also ditched my kefir recently. I used to keep it in a winesking so that I didn't need to clean anything. Still adding milk and drinking kéfir every day was too much work for me 🐒

Apologies if you've already addressed this and I just missed it. What are the main reasons you tend to go for organ meats instead of skeletal muscles? Is it more of a nutritional thing, or a cost thing, or just personal preference? Also, I know in a comment on a previous video you mentioned that you'd make the metal parts of the wagon from aluminum if you did it over again. Are there other changes you'd recommend to anyone designing their own wagon? I know you added a new brake and have made upgrades to the wheels in the past, which were very helpful to learn about.
@123Homefree3 ай бұрын
No aluminum is lighter but less rigid it wouldnt be a solid enough structure to feel pleasurable getting in and out/moving around in motion feels like a rocking boat

how do you deal with mosquitoes. Hoping the algorithm gets you more views.
@123Homefree2 ай бұрын
I dont stay in areas with bad mosquitos they seem to be very location specific. My wagon does have a bug screen i can button up where my felted curtains are but thats plan b to just not going around the marshier areas of my valley.

have you ever thought of a larger cart like the ones on Rural Heritage?

@victorygarden5563 ай бұрын
@@123Homefree been here for years. We’ve talked before. You’d need a bigger one if you had kids. It’s necessary and wildly practical if it fits in a car lane. You don’t think the Amish are doing just fine? It’s basically a buggy with a big back. If someone had more sheep, built a brake system, and dummy cord it to themself with a pull pin system alongside the traditional handbrake, so if you fall or they run off it stops it and you can just stop at will, could be ok.
@123Homefree3 ай бұрын
@@victorygarden556 ive made videos addressing all this already multiple times, id suggest individual family members have their own wagon/room with specialty cintent everyone would benefit from like mine already has a full kitchen so my partners wagon wont need to carry any of that. Amish ways are shit when bullets start flying their horses become just as much of health threat to themselves and wagon as the thief shooting at you
