I love blue and white and milk glass . So so pretty and goes w any decor. I just found two milk glass lanterns converted into lamps and in great shape, along w several little milk glass bowls and plates😍😍😍. Thank you for the treasure share you found some great pieces.

Let me tell you a sad fact Laura, my daughter and I were talking the other day I am 72 yrs old and she told me to start down sizing bc when I die she doesn't want to deal with my collectables that hurt me so bad all my handmade quilts and Aryans she said would be pitched,it's nice to know that there are youngsters like you that appreciate that k8nd of stuff and will give it a second life,bless you my dear

Marie Chrisman i say you enjoy your treasures as long as they bring you joy and when you’re gone she can do whatever she wants with them! maybe they’ll fall into the hands of someone that will treasure them like you did. Basically if it makes you unhappy to “downsize” because she said you should for her benefit DONT do it.

Mrs. Chrisman, I so understand how you feel. I have a small quilt collection and milkglass collection and my son is not interested at all. I love finding someone like Laura who appreciates these things. I'm going to start blessing any younger folks that cherish such things as I grow older (54 now).

I think you need to do some research on that McCoy piece. McCoy was famous for their pottery and some pieces are valuable. Good haul!

Omg you're so right about goodwill and salvation army ☹ even my local thrift store is pricey ....makes me not want to donate to them anymore, I'd rather put a FREE sign on the item and I placed it outside on my porch. ...it works!

Great finds. It the planter is by McCoy it could be worth some money. McCoy pottery is very well known and Collectible. Check into it. Your White Lamps are what is referred to as Hobnail.

those are some really cool finds laura! my mom used to collect milk glass so i love the lamps! she also collected the blue plates too & i love the rug, ty for the video (p.s. I also like the pic's that have loops on the top, I always use ribbons to help hang them, that way they can match whatever i have in that area)

Thanks for sharing Laura, Blue and white are pretty together, I think you would like 'Delft Pottery' they made a lot of blue and white with different country scapes in their pottery, and china. 'Flow Blue' is also great to collect for blue and white.

A few things... You sure you're not Greek or have Greek in you. Because Greeks LOVE Blue & White!!! Now, I think back when we would go to Greece for the Summer when we were young and I'm thinking back to mall the stuff we threw out from my mom's and Aunt's farms as they were selling off the family's houses. In the barn I vividly remember silverware, Greek & German helmets from WW11 and no lie a Gramophone. It worked and all and was a wind up one and we just threw it out!!!! Man oh man, the stuff we could of had with us now. Until the next one, Dirty Jersey out!!!
