Hey Jim - we ended up using America’s Home Place to have our home built. (We went with stick frame construction.) There are tons of metal home companies out there tho, and having a custom package prepared and installed for you should be relatively easy!

Is your home holding up nicely? Many people are complaining of cracked ceilings, walls shortly after moving into the home. What is your experience? Thx!

We’ve not had any of those issues. We’ve been really happy with the home (as we approach the 2 year mark).

For your house, The Murray, did you get your own individual contractors? And how close was AHP with their qoutes in the end?

AHP was the general contractor & used all of their own subs. We were within $200 of our build allowances - which I thought was fantastic!

I know you had mentioned that you guys went with a painted kitchen cabinet, do you know if the cabinets in this video was painted or stained?

Their project, like ours, took approx 4 months from slab to completion. Slowed down a bit by the Electric Provider, but not a complete halt.
