I'm relatively new to the game, and it would be cool to see a video that covers how the mechanics work. For instance, how does crit work over 100%? Does 105% give you a guaranteed crit with a 5% chance for a double crit? A video that covers how these all work would be great.

That is exactly how it works haha. I'm not sure how to demonstrate something like that. However a video speaking of the mechanics is fine.

Talking about general tips on like the math of scaling would be nice. For example, each passive has its own additive effect of getting more of that passive, but leviathan 20% damage is multiplicitive with powerful strikes 20%, but if your leviathan damage is 100% and powerful strikes only has 10%, getting 10% more of powerful strikes is better than 30% leviathan damage so its important to get lower numbers up first. (100 x 20 vs 130 x 10) and little things like crit affecting ailments and stuff.

@krayte5120 personally I find the math quite difficult and I've linked a guide before that has all the details for that stuff. I don't know all the intricate details as much as others sadly haha 😆

@@BrokensPlayz But you do come up with some great builds! If you think it would do well for the channel, I'd love to see the general thought process that goes into creating your own build. Do you start from the character's special skill? A weapon? Do you just come up with a theme you want to try and then see what plays well together? How much iterating goes into a build before you consider it good enough to get its own video? Are defensives and self sustain solved in skill choice or just upgrade choice? How many debuffs are too many? I'm not expecting answers to all these questions, they're just rhetorical mostly. They're just some of the ones that run through my head when I'm trying to come up with something myself and then when it inevitably fails I'm not exactly sure how to check to see why and just think "Well... I'm sure BP has a video. I'll just fire up YT"

@CoopMoe most of my builds are either thematic or skill centered. If thematic I see what amd how I can make that theme work first with all the available skills and how easy or hard it would be to get all wanted skills (this used to be much much harder before skills mysteries became versatility runes). I them look at what complements said skills. A good example was my recent video for area stacking. I wanted to use heat explosion as a main skill, and so I took colossal skills to increase my area of effect that way I also got earth and fire synergy upgrades.

If you have 10 runic power, dash master or battle prowess would be good runes to take alongside the others. If you're feeling especially ballsy, you can replace unconventional start with skill master to get access to chaos golems and frenzied bunnies. Those would give you access to applying disarray on attacks.

@lilintern you can run 6 earthquake on anyone or you can go 4 earthquake and 2 another non earthquake skill to get x to earth skill chain for even better times.

I'm looking for a mono ice build for myrmidion i know that mono builds aren't the meta but it is also because ice in itself is really challenging to build well

@scottmadsen9964 she has access to ice vortex which will carry you well. You can use her first weapon with weapon expert and grab all ice skills like ice vortex, blizzard, avalanche. How far do you want the build to go?

@@BrokensPlayz As far as I can being mono ice I usually try to figure things out myself, but even asking around on the discord I haven't really gotten much done. The farthest I have made it is overlord 7 and even then that ended up with me spamming debuffs that weren't slow which is ices mechanic so it wasn't exactly true ice

@@BrokensPlayz Thanks hopefully they will add an ice version of sentinel because while i love myrmidion sentinel is my main but i have a pretty consistent doom build for them usually make it to OL 8-9 before hands diff wins it for the AI

@@johnwaffles9972 Earthquake applies brittle. Brittle has been double dipping into stats and therfore the damage its been doing is way higher than its supposed to be. Next patch which is currently in alpha brittle is getting fixed and therefore no longer really needed in builds as it isnt broken anymore

I broke the game with a build, i dont even have to move the entire match lol. Even bosses with 200 trillion HP drop in seconds. Kinda made the game boring.

@@BrokensPlayz Barb build, built all around ice hammer, its dmg based of slows. Pretty much does 1t + dps while other attacks do 5% of that. And i get any spells that give stacks of any thing, in the end you have 1k+ stacks of almost everything, usly around lvl 300+. I get to the point where i cant kill the mobs due to having quadtrillions of hp, but they still cant kill me.
