Excellent video, thanks. That shed you got is definitely bugged. Saw the doors magically close as you were getting closer. Your closest free water is the small pond you used. When you were looking at the map it made me realise just how many crops there are now that require specific harvesters, virtually all of which cost a small fortune. Will be intersting to see if we can use the Mac Don on relevant contracts as the bonus 25% to yield should all be ours and if we can that will make it really good value to get early on.
@DisTurbedSimulationsАй бұрын
Thanks. Yeah that door is mixing a distance texture as there is a magical point is appears. As for harvesting, were wait for the modders otherwise it's contracts or sales I think.
@dansiegel995Ай бұрын
It doesn't matter when you have 3 contracts, same grain. You can dump it all as you harvest it. The KEY is to not accept completion of any contract until a) all contracts are completed b) excess bonus crop is safely in your silo. You need discipline to not accept completion of a contract as soon as it's finished. Remember, there is no auto completion.

Yeah, you make a fair point. For what I was trying to mini test it did help.

Nice to see a Green Fendt back in the game - there was one in FS17 with its sister Massey. But then we lost the Massey in FS19. FS22 gave us the badged Black AGCO combines instead.
@DisTurbedSimulationsАй бұрын
Probably good that they rotate this stuff a bit, I really expected a combine in the day 1 mods from Giants
@aslake3848Ай бұрын
You could reset at least. 21:08 I didn't look away LOL! For now there is no problem, the door is closed ... 25:15 oh, problem is back, a bug, was it a bee or an ant, that just reopened the doors or a GIANT bug?

Great episode D/S that shed door was definitely odd and the crop excess, is better than Mr SealyP did and have you noticed the odd snowflake coming down,and it’s not just on yours plus I forgot to say your graphics look a lot better 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pretty sure those "snowflakes" are meant to like dandelion fluff or similar plants/pollen floating in the wind

Am I wrong or are all the trees, grass and so on directly ported from FS22? graphically it looks a lot less beautifull then the FS25 made maps..

You should buy own trailer for delivering harvest, not relly on contract one.

@cyphi474 why? The contract provides the combine and trailer?

I am a worse driver than you in the game. If I can't place a drive through shed for equipment i just don't use a shed because reversing using keyboard and mouse and the co-ordination of a drunken spider is just a recipe for frustration. I managed to make decent income on contracts back in 22, mainly doing root crops. In 25 I have started using the MacDon for grain contracts and found I made a decent excess income from the grain plus was able to bale and sell the straw.
@DisTurbedSimulations22 күн бұрын
curious that you are managed to use the macdon on contracts, as I couldn't get it to work when I tried it.
@IndyIndie5922 күн бұрын
@@DisTurbedSimulations It was only since the last patch. I hadn't tried it before then but heard it wouldn't work. I wanted to try though, so I saved and tried and it worked. I also used the large header because when I tried the smaller header (which I assumed was just for grass but tried it anyway) the combine wouldn't pick the grain out of the swathe.
@DisTurbedSimulations21 күн бұрын
interesting, I wonder if hat's something they have changed. I'll have to retest that.

@@DisTurbedSimulations I have solved the mystery ... I had installed the mod contract boost ... on reading it again I can see it allows collect straw at missions which would explain it. I was confused because I knew I didn't have the mod called collect straw at missions because it isn't available yet. I do hope collect straw at missions is available soon because I prefer it along with better contracts because it is more configurable.
