Woah! 73,000 dollars a year!?! that's insane!!1!1!!!! Ya know what else is insane? waiting for months until the crops are ready to harvest, miliions of dollars of equipment used to harvest, seed and fertilize the feild, and that money getting split up between the 13 people that helped and the huge maintainence builds on the heavy equipment. Sure, the farm might have a total net worth in the millions, but the net worth is all the equipment instead of the money actually made by the farm.

To the government it looks like we should be able to cover everything just fine and live extravagant. As a seasoned (no pun intended) veteran, with 4K hours and a real farmer, I love seeing these videos of people doing things that are so silly and seem impossible to me to ever mistakenly do, but I always remind myself “if I knew nothing about farming and was given the option to mess with tons of cool looking machinery, I ABSOLUTELY would”.
