If he ever plays this again or for anyone playing here’s a few things that work for me: -don’t waste money on parsnips they sell for minimal profit go for cauliflower it sells for a much higher profit -always check how long things take to grow because after that season they die -get the backpack ASAP you have very limited inventory space a good thing to do in the mean time craft a chest (50 wood) -when you unlock the community centre do the packs as soon as you can especially if it’s seasonal packs -do not get rid of the tall grass until you get a silo because that will turn it into hay for animals -stay very far away from Joja at all costs it ruins the game if you don’t -in summer the best thing to get is melons (buy for 80 sell normal quality for 250) -always buy from Pierre’s for crops as they are sold for way less than joja -on a lucky day always go down to the mines you will find a plethora of minerals and rare materials -don’t over work yourself if your energy is low and you pass out you will be taken home and have to pay doctors fees, if your health is low leave the area and go home (unless you have food which will heal you) if you feel you are going to loose all your health if you’re in the mine you’ll lose some of your money and items and always be home before 2am for the same reason as the energy one -in fall focus on pumpkins as they are bought low and sell high -get a coop and/or barn before winter as no crops can be grown in winter so animal products will have to be your income However if you have other strategies that you prefer go for it this isn’t me saying “this is the best method and everyone should follow it” it’s just a few tips obviously everyone has their own method which works for them this is just what works for me

For those who want more Stardew Valley watch Jack's latest Reading Your Comments video! (Episode 89). If you don't want to, I'll summarise what he said.He wants to continue Stardew Valkey, but he's afraid that it won't be as popular since the game has been out long enough for people to thoroughly explore the ins and outs of the game. At the time this was recorded, the game was relatively new, so if he were to continue, he thinks it wouldn't be as popular since people most likely will know the game a lot more now.Also he didn't continue the game since the SXSW gaming awards were coming up, and once he prepared videos in advance, he realised that's forgot all about Stardew Valley.Thank the person who asked a question about that. xDI hope he does continue though! I'm addicted to this game myself. I bought the game 3 days ago and I'm already at 4th of Fall. :')))

Dear Jack, (yes I know he'll never see this) All of my family extended currently lives in South Africa, with is a 16.5 hour flight away, so we don't see them very often. Instead for thanksgiving and christmas, we gather with other South African families that moved to the U.S. and consider them family too. So my aunt has a farm that we would go to every thanksgiving, and they hay would already be in bales, and up near the barn, so while the adults talked, we would go and jump around on the hay. Playing games like sharks and minnows, tag and even hide and seek (that was played between the bales). Even now, I still look forward to it.

Couple of tips from me. 1. Seeds from Joja Mart are more expensive then from general store. 2. Wood, stone, fiber and sap are needed for crafting, so don't sell it. 3. There is social tab where you can see what's your standing with villagers you need to reach two hearts with them, when you do, you will be able to get into their rooms. There are 5 bachelors and 5 bachelorettes you can marry. 4. You can raise their affection with gifts they like (check wiki if you want to see what do villagers love or you can just try to find out yourself, it will be hard, but doable.) 5. Stuff you get off the beach can be shipped or sold to Willy, so don't throw it away. 6. To upgrade your tools you need to visit Blacksmith. You need to pay a fee to upgrade it and when you do you won't be able to use tool untile it's finished (3-5 days more or less). 7. On 5th or 6th day mines will open so you can go mine the ore needed for tools there 8. Fishing is quite profitable way to get money, it's hard, but you can level skill , so it will get easier. 9.There are skills, by doing corresponding things it will gain exp and lvl which will give you some crafting blueprints and you will be better in using a tool, it will say what tool got proficiency when you lvl the skill 10. Don't bother clearing your whole farm untile you get higher tier tools, you can cleanup the spot on which you intend to grow crops and leave it at that. 11. Beans regrow after you pick them, so maybe you should get few seeds. And that rice isn't seed it's food, so don't bother buying it and if you want to buy it buy it in General Store as I mentioned. 12. Also stuff you find laying around like leek is also sellable, so try to ship it. 13. You can buy food from saloon, but later when you upgrade your house you will be able to cook the food yourself, but you will need recipe. There is more to say, but I think this will be enough for now, if you don't know something let us know and there is also wiki which can help you aswell. I hope you make this a series.
