Using Carm magazines in my Revere they are superb and you can get 3 or 4 (depending model) for the price of a Daystate one. And they don't rattle like the original one. Nice vid, as always!

Nice shooting! You are so lucky to have permissions like this up your way. I'm really struggling to get perms down in Essex. I use a weihreuch hw100kt with the pard nv008lrf.

You just have to keep trying and persevering. Eventually you get somewhere and sometimes it's about being in the right place at the right time and seeking every opportunity. Hopefully you get somewhere to shoot soon.

@@shootersavvy That's brilliant to hear. Coincidentally I was at one of my permissions yesterday and a neighbouring farmer was there. He heard about me from the farm I was on and he's invited me round this Monday for squirrels and rats. What I'm saying is once you get your first permission and you stay on the good side of the farmer/land owner they spread the word! I would highly suggest a cheap thermal as that will gain you much more rats.

@@shootersavvy have a look at my review of the T2PRO. Plugs into your phone (make sure you order the correct one, apple or android). I use a 15mm Hik, they're about £900 but you can get smaller lens ones which will be fine for ratting.

Huntsman FAC in .25 - Talk about overkill for rats! 🤪. Don't get me wrong - I love my FAC Red Wolf Safari - at 65ft/lb, you cat watch people take out wild boar with them, so I guess I am guilty too of providing no mercy for the rabbits and Woodies! Keep up the good work! I would be interested to know where abouts in Lancs you are - I am originally from the Pendle area....

You're right, which is why I don't shoot inside buildings with the .25, that's when the sub 12 comes out.

Nice shooting and a nice looking rifle. I'm not a shooter and looked at the price of this rifle. Must admit to doing a double take but when I compare it to my hobby, at one time a second business, of photography then it is not too bad. The cost of your gear is actually a little bit less than mine. Don't tell my missus though, she thinks it is just a cheap camera and a couple of lenses! Keep up the good work.

Awesome video that Daystate Huntsman is a beautiful rifle and being 25 caliber FAC puts the smack down on the rat's. Lancs what is the fpe the 25 caliber is shooting at ? And I'd agree that an extra mag or 2 would make it easier and the price is less than what I pay for an extra magazine for my Evol which is $100 . Cheers brother

Thanks Eddie, and yes I do highly rate the 007. Mine is the very original one and easily swap between rifles. However, just be mindful that your head is further back so all my scopes are mounted further forward to try and reduce how far back my head is. All the best for the new year.

It is infrared. Invisible to the naked eye but works only with night vision.

Day & Night Camcorder: Panasonic HC-VX870 but have to use an external torch with it. External IR attached to camcorder: ODEPRO KL52+

Is the Daystate more accurate than the Impact at 100 metres or haven't you tested it at that distance yet?

I doubt it mainly because the barrel on the Daystate is only 430mm as I wanted a more compact rifle, but it does exactly what I need it to. However, if buying in sub 12 there would be minimal difference between them.

Cleaning up the mess on that farmyard would be a better way of reducing the number of rats, than shooting at them. The proliferation of rats is terribly fast. It is not possible to decrease the amount, when the number has reached as high as on this farm.
