I and a friend went out hunting rats in his horse barn. He had a corn silo that they were pilfering. I can't tell you how many we killed, but it was a lot. The next morning we went out to collect the dead ones and there weren't any. That is when we discovered they are cannibals.

In Detroit, I used a 22 caliber rifle and watched the other rat's feed on the one I shot and killed. As soon as the other rata smelled fresh blood and fresh meat, it was game on for cannibalism dinner. The other rat's ate up the shot rat like piranhas chowing down on anything swimming in their water. It was a chilling sight to see.

Great shooting!. I own an agt vulcan cal .25 and it's excellent for pesting and small game. It's extremely accurate and smacks with authority. No animal suffering there. I think even dirty rats should not suffer unnecessary from wounds. My prime targets/game: rats, pigeons, grouse, rabbits, hares, ducks and fish.

Think it's just the hammer. Reg pressure run quite high on Daystates but it still performs well.

Those fac .25 slugs definitely switch off the lights better than the.177 sub 12. Great shooting, as always. I'm guessing that you have switched away from the Impact.

Can you talk about how you use the crosshairs and what your desired target on a rat is?

By how I use the crosshairs I’m assuming holdovers/unders? If so, I zero at 40 yards then put paper targets out at 5 yard increments right down to 15 yards and take note where the pellet hits whether it shoots higher or lower at all the distances. Desired target on a rat, headshot 🤷‍♂️

I use .177 in sub 12 as it shoots flatter than a sub 12 .22 and a .25 in FAC can use heavier projectiles.
