I was born in 1947 and started singing his songs to my neighbors at 6 years old. I've met a number of people over the years who said they liked the old country music. Told them my favorite was Faron Young and they said, (WHO)? Oh well.

Yes, the Browns' version of this song is very good. It's a classic song, no matter who sang it, and I also have versions by Johnny Cash and Don Gibson. I have most of the Browns' albums. I will check and see which ones KZbin will allow me to post.
