Good tip he made on smoothing. When you stroke to smooth, you actually smear it smooth rather than rounding/flattening it. When you tap, it rounds much nicer and avoids hiccups like crossing geometry and getting weird bumps, triangle glitches, etc

Hi, Thank you for your comment. For the sculpt going too deep, first try to reset scale, ctrl+A in object mode (apply scale) and then sculpt. Next when sculpt is moved, open the move menu which shows in the bottom right corner, adjust the value to reduce it. Another way is to hold shift while moving, it can reduce the movement speed. It can take a little practice but hopefully you will get it.

One of the best sculpting tutorial! But i have question about switching parts of object. I know that you can also untake Lock object mode and switch object parts with alt left click. I think that with alt q it is more convenient but i want to know what is the difference between these keys?
@Farrukh3D10 ай бұрын
Thank you very much for your comment. I prefer Alt+q and have lock mode on. For Lock mode, it is used to restrict switching of mode when selecting different objects. For example selecting a bone in pose mode and instead clicking some other object that might lead to switch to object mode. I usually keep lock mode on.

@Farrukh3D8 ай бұрын
Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback. For the nostrils, you can try checking if in the multires modifier all subdivision levels are atleast 3. Then apply it. The details can disappear during remesh modifier as well, you can use a more lower value to keep most details. Hopefully it will work.

Why in 2:34 we must apply SCALE? Why is this function so important and what does it do?
@Farrukh3D Жыл бұрын
Hi, the reason to apply scale is needed because blender sculpting brushes will produce incorrect results. This action resets the scale property. Applying scale in blender is needed whenever we change the size of object. Otherwise modifiers like bevel, displacement or sculpting may look not right. Sometimes we can skip as well but better to use it.

@Farrukh3D11 ай бұрын
Hi, if masking looks low resolution then apply the subdivision modifier first. (click apply button in modifier small arrow) not just only add. That will increase the number of polygons in the mesh. Mask looks clear when base mesh already has more density of polygons. Hopefully it will fix the issue.

@Farrukh3D4 ай бұрын
Hi, Check if the subdivision modifier is applied. Click the apply button in the modifier. That will add more geometry in the mesh and mask will be smoother. Adding and applying modifier are two different operations and affect results in sculpting.
