I don’t know how you do it where you’re from, Larry, but in the US the government has to have probable cause to bring charges as they did for your Dear Leader Trump. I’ve read the indictments and the Senate Intelligence Committee’s volume V investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign’s contacts with Russian agents and mobsters. Had the FBI not investigated “Russia Russia Russia,” they would have been derelict in their duties. I doubt you’re capable of understanding law, but that’s no excuse.

I live in rural Georgia and I am of the lucky few that have rural fiber optic Internet that unfortunately went down two hurricanes ago - and has never been restored. I called the service provider, and was told they have no idea when they’ll get that fiber optic cable up and running because their base station is underwater somewhere, I immediately ordered a Starlink satellite and solar powered battery, I was up and running in three days with gigabit speeds for exactly the same monthly charge as my old Internet and beautifully -Elon has given me three free months because I’m in a disaster zone. How great is that?? It was a crime that the government spent billions on the rural Internet with such an unbelievably disgustingly poor rollout - a total wasteful failure. 👍🌎🚀💓

Interesting that Tesla has targeted next year for their cheaper models to debut. These models will be cheaper by about $7,500 I'll bet! Elon has already planned for the irradication of the IRA. The new models will be the model 3 and model Y made with as much of the unboxed method as possible and with less creature comforts possibly. "Any color as long as it's black". Again, ask yourself why Tesla has a video of a model Y being made with the unboxed method.... that has been used to explain that process. They could have used a generic car shape to demo this but they used a model Y. I think that was a big clue. Wouldn't Tesla want to shift as much as possible to the unboxed method to work out any kinks before they introduce the cybercab made fully with unboxed?

Great discussion. I couldn't agree more with Larry's assessment of Elon. I am having great difficulty however, understanding the glorification of Trump as the vector to the cure of problems in the political arena and I am therefore cynical that Elon is simply using Trump as his tool to clearing his path to successes with his ventures. Larry and Brad briefly touched on this as a potential issue with the clash of personalities of Trump vs Elon. The reality is that in spite of the shitty treatment Elon has received from the Biden administration, he has by virtue of his skills been wildly successful and will under any circumstance continue with that success. Trump brings no skill to the game save for his preponderance for ignoring laws and managing to get away with it. It is absolutely true that the American political system requires repair but this wont be accomplished by Trump. Elon will continue to be successful in any circumstance.
