Test rode this before buying the cbr250r in june. Beautiful machine. Revs really nice. Reason I didn’t pick this was the headlight design and taillight. Somehow I felt the cbr looked more appealing to the eye

Dear Yamaha Since my childhood I am passionate about Owning Yamaha motorbikes but I will not buy my favorite bike until Yamaha will not increase the quality of Head light 💡 of FZS v 3 bs 6, and FZ25 (6th gear)model 2020. One more issue with MT 15 that I can’t take my mother or wife with me as pillion seat is too small..... Or no one wants to end up buying Dominar, Gixer 250 just because of head light and seat comfort.

There is so much to improve Faisal. All these not so imp cost cutting observations are absolutely not required. Talk about the rake angle, suspension setup, ohc a Etc. This is how you improve over the period.

This is best now in India in 200-250cc range.... Coz its anyways preffered over cbr 250r now... N duke 250 n all cost above 2 lakhs doesn't make sense spending so much money fr 250cc.....Instead if one is going above 2 lakh.... He shld see fr RR 310 rather some 250cc....up to 2 lakh its best with sf250.... Cc shld increase when price goes above 2 lakh

Is Suzuki too late in the 250 market? I nearly fell off my chair when 86% said yes?!?! Obviously most are only just out of nappies (if you have them in India). As Suzuki RULED the 250 market for at least 10 years! And nothing today comes close to the RGV-250’s from the 90’s..... Google them. I raced two brand new ones way back then, still have one, nothing new comes close still!

Many reviewers kept telling that the 250 doesn't feel as lively/engaging/fun, confidence inspiring to ride as its smaller 150cc sibling. Is it so?. I am planning to exchange my 2 year old Fz25 for the Gixxer 250. I don't enjoy the Fz25 during corners as I have no feeling of what the bike is upto and hence not much confidence or fun. I do enjoy the oodles of torque the Fz25 offers lower down the revv range, but I would prefer the free revving Suzuki engine.

I think it is duke 250 you should be considering, given your requirements. Whichever one you choose, make sure it's BS6.

@@lionsden6960 Yes and imo its worth the extra 35k as well over the gixxer,. But I personally feel, the lesser tech and Japanese reliability will serve as a better companion in the long run. Also, I am not a fan of dukes extroverted looks. I wouldn't have thought twice, if I didn't consider these two things. My Fz is just 2 years old, and I bought it planning to keep it for atleast 5 to 6 years minimum(or maybe never change as I find 250cc to be the sweet spot considering Performance, Efficiency and Cost balance). But it doesn't give me the riding pleasure I used to enjoy from my RTR 160, a engaging, connected, confidence inspiring ride. Gixxer 155 also has that feel, and am trying to make sure even the Gixxer 250 has it. And I have no hill stations near where I stay to even check its performance by renting one, once they become available. Can't afford to change a bike again in the future. Hence hunting for opinions. :)

@@abhisheksagar6327 Oh yes, I did, it fits all my requirements, and I don't think its overpriced, considering it comes via CKD units, but for me its about a lakh more expensive than the Gixxer 250, and will be expensive to maintain as well (with only 22 Wing World dealerships to service it all over the Country). Hence the cost part will upset the balanced sweet spot(personal opinion) mentioned earlier.

Hi Faisal. Need ur suggestion on this. I am very confused between the fz250 and the gixxer250(now that the naked version is also in). I won't be riding at more than 110kmph I believe as my main commute is in cities. But occational highway riding is there. I need quick initial pickup and nice mid-range. But the lack of 6th gear, boring instrument console, just 2 valve and only air cooling is what pulls me back from buying fz250. Gixxer excels in all the above points but is it as good as fz25 in the acceleration department. Also does the lack of the above said featured really affect the fz. Kindly reply.

THat speedo just struggles to keep up with the kinda acceleration that the bike has!!!! Most of the time it stays at zero even if the bike has started to move, then it registers a single-digit 4kmph and straight away jumps to 19 then 30. That speedo sensor is quite lethargic. But the bike is quite good. far far better than Fazer 250. That one extra gear over Fazer 250 lets it touch a top wack of 150. which is damn good. Even if i am a big fan of Yamaha, this is the kinda bike i was expecting them to launch. Guess i will be going for the naked version of a Suzuki 250.
