Hey Faisal.. I'm from Uttarakhand, learned to drive in this car, the old one with 2.4 litre engine (not sure though), so raw I just can't explain. Today, after a couple of years, having driven multiple vehicles from many manufacturers, I understand why this is so widely popular. It just cheap to maintain, easy on pocket and hugely reliable.

I learned driving on bolero in 2009 -10 which was owned by my uncle. and I got my license in 2011. That bolero had 2.5 liter diesel engine, which was way better than current engine. When the car is in traffic, it is easily picked up in 2nd gear. I had So much good memories with the bolero. but current generation is too much overpriced with no features at all. Now, top model costs around 13 lakh On road Mumbai.

This is truly the "Fill it, shut it, forget it" car. What with 60 lit of fuel tank, you can forget it for some time for sure 🤣 The car needs no maintenance bro. I mean people are scared of it and avoid getting close to it, so no issues with scratches. In fact, believe it or not, it does turn heads ! No plastics, so for small dents (if they happen in rare circumstances), no need to replace the fiber parts. Driving through the western ghats, on any roads and villages in Maharashtra, kuch hota hi nahi hai yaar ! If I have to pick a car in India which will not dump me (dhoka nahi degi), it will be the Bolero ! I rest my case 🙂

The first gear is so short because in steep inclines the first gear will act almost as a low range . People driving bolero in plains use start from second gear as the ratio is equal to 1st gear of normal cars

Bolero back seat has one compartment used for filling water for washer water. Bolero has two fuel filling outlet one for diseal and other for another fluid which is used for bs6 conversation of diseal engine of bolero .it is i think urea filling
