Thanks to my new hobby... KZbin 😉... my dolls had a hard time this year. I had to overthink how to display my dolls, but also have the possibilities to store doll when I used them for comparisons. So now I have a drawer with mainly nude dolls and one only with doll clothing 😅 The number of dolls that remain in their styles are constantly shrinking. But still I guess it would be an interesting video at some point.

@@Endollphins The same thing happened to me because I photograph dolls for my Insta account. I had them all dressed, but I found it's just easier to have them all nude without hands. If only I could find a solution to prevent their hair from magically puffing up as they stand there nude without hands waiting to have their picture taken. lol

I agree 😁 The hair is a problem... so far I store the naked ones in the drawer and the few selected ones who are lucky, can stay stylish on the shelf... at least for a while 😉 I try to keep the hair in shape while the dolls sleep during their time in the drawer. It doesn't work all the time 😬... but they stay dust free... one good thing 😅

I think the promo pictures are simply too smooth. Personally, I like it when the advertising is a bit more true to the actual item 😅 But that does not count only for action figure heads 🤣 And you are right❣️ They look beautiful in person 😁 Thank you for your comment and compliment 😊❣️😘

I truly can agree on that 🤣🤣🤣 Most of the time I can adjust with the final product... but sometimes I get a bit upset. Just the normal expectation vs. reality problem 😅

Hello, if I think like you, the result of the union with the mengf bodys makes an impressive doll with that head hyperrealistic and proportionate to the body that impresses me more than the fashion royalty, mizi doll and the mengf themselves. Now I am very used to collecting complete dolls and not hybrids and I don't buy all the heads and bodies that I would like, but I recognize that they are my favorite videos, greetings and even another video

Sometimes it's fun to watch what others create without feeling the need to buy every part. I like to show these heads, because I think they're very nicely done and I am sure some doll collectors never even thought about placing an action figure head on a fashion doll body... but in fact it looks good and most of the time it is even a more affordable fashion doll option than a nude Fashion Royalty or Mizi doll 😅 aaand for me it is a plus that they don't have applied lashes 😂 Also, the smaller heads give the Mengf body an even more curvy look... not bad either 😁

I'm not as brave as you to try new types of dolls, i always fear i will order the wrong thing. Wrong body/head skin tone combos... things like that. Maybe some day i will feel educated enough to try something new. These dolls are pretty.

I’ve ordered some wrong things, and it does take a while to get things right. I wonder if there are easy-to-get-to clubs or shops or shows where people can swap items. I admit that I’ve copied a few of Endollphins’ choices, and that’s saved me from some pricey mistakes :)

I guess it is just part of my style of collecting. For me it's fun to try out stuff and it's fine when it does not work out on the first try 😅 Luckily it does not take a lot of space to store heads or bodies alone 🤣 At some point they will always find their match. There is no need for education. But of course it is always nice to have some information or inspiration to start from 😁

Most of my action figure head boxes come crushed! I’m impressed they gave the long-haired girl a longer box so her hair would stay properly coiffed during travel. The “Mandy” head I got (I8-H004 from I8toys) came in an extra-fancy box, nicely protected. Have you done a video showing how to remove different types of Barbie heads-the ones on a long connector? I’ll look again, in case I’ve forgotten. I’m having no luck so far taking heads off, even following instructions about using hot water, and I don’t want to break or tear anything. I’m pretty sure that when I was a little kid, the heads popped right off 😄

Hey you 😁 You made me buy a Mandy head too! Actually two heads 😉 I wanted to know, if there is a difference if I buy the head from a listing that has the offcial high quality pictures and one that does even not mentioned i8toys. I bought the expensive one first and a few days later the cheaper one. So far, only the cheaper one arrived 😅 But the box looks authentic. You are right! It is very fancy! I am so excited to see if the officially as i8toys advertised item looks exactly the same... I mean they will have different hair styles, but the rest is the same 😁 Do you think I should do a video about removing Barbie heads from their bodies? I thought it would be pointless, because Froggy did it so many times 😅 But in fact it is a bit tricky sometimes and a shorter video that might give collectors a better view is definitely not a bad idea❣️ Thank you for your suggestion 😉 I will definitely make a video about it, because it still might help.

My eBay Mandy cost under 30 USD, and she looks beautiful. I’m happy you have one too 😄 I wouldn’t necessarily worry if the sellers don’t mention i8toys, since so many people just call this head “Mandy” now. If it isn’t too much trouble for you to do, it would be wonderful and much appreciated to have a video on removing heads here on your channel too. I’ve been watching some of Froggy’s videos, but I think yours are more fun and the outfits are so elegant. And your videos are always so funny too 😁

But I paid around 18 Euros more for the other one. I really want to know if there is a difference! But honestly I doubt it... but still I wanted to know it 😅

They remind me of the Mattel star dolls. Who also have small heads.

You do have a point here❣️ The make up design is very similar and Mattel used more oval shaped heads for their Stardolls, which is relatively uncommen for Barbie heads. Do you know who created the face molds, and even the body, for the Stardoll line? The name of the facial designer is Kittaya Wongchinda (but kittaya_papaya on Instagram). She is an incredible artist! She also created, for example, the Elle and Kit face and many more! I wish more facial designer would open up about their work. To me those artists are the ones who deserve the spotlight.

I have two AT-203 bodies and one has a head and the other one will get a head soon. No offense. I love Barbie, but those actionfigure heads and bodies make Barbie look... cheap. I know there is an difference between fashiondolls and actionfigure "dolls", but wow. I might have found a new passion. Thanks 😅

I feel you❣️ On one side Mattel tells us that they need the new resin print method to have less wonk eye and more details in the screening... and then I see these action figure faces in person... how can they do so so so much details and clear screenings without even any sign of wonk eye and blurry detail? I am so blown away by that! These heads are so pretty and even smaller than any Barbie head. To me Mattel fails atm. I am disappointed by their quality of screening and hair fiber. I still love the faces they have, but simply hope that more quality comes back in the future. But still, action figure heads on Mengf bodies will remain a big thing in my collection 😁 I am in love 🥰🥰🥰 And I'm happy that I was able to give you input for a new passion 😃 I think it's great to have a new thing to hunt for❣️ Thank you for your comment, sweetie 🥰❣️😘

I have ALWAYS thought they looked a bit cockeyed and goofy, and the eyebrows I feel are the wrong shape and always too dark. It's a shame because I like other things about them but they just don't have high quality faces

Thank you for the comment 😊 I try my best not talking all the time about it... the new type of screening drives me mad sometimes. Even if they are not resin printed, they often have a weird look. For example the teeth... In earlier days I never thought a smiley face looked wrong, but nowadays some of the teeth look like a Tic Tac... You know... I mean these little mouth refreshing pastilles 🤣🤣🤣 It simply does not look good like it used to. That makes me sad 😢
