One of the girls was right though in what she said. If everyone stopped buying the clothes, the demand would stop, putting these people out of work. As little as they make, & as much as they have to work / live in the most horrendous conditions.. this is some sort of income to them. Take it away & they’ll have nothing - that’s the bloody sad reality of it all 😔 They need an intervention direct from either the supplier themselves or from the government (fat chance) - the employers take advantage too. Also - although some of these ‘kids’ might act spoilt the point of this series, I’m guessing, is not just to raise awareness on what really goes on in the clothing industry but for the younger ones to lose that entitled attitude & for it to be a real eye opener for them (which I think it has been for the majority). Young people not being able to control their emotions and having tantrums when they come up against even the smallest of problems. Life is going to be hard for them when the shtf and the way the world is going it will be very soon.

How can you compare irresponsible spoilt brats in Britain to lower earning working people in India. These kids are considered spoilt and irresponsible where they came from. They will be acting like fools even if they were employed in the UK. And regarding Amrita, who claims to want to be a designer, I don't even know how she didn't value the experience of being trained in a factory by professionals. I tought my self to sew and I would love to learn from professionals, just looking at how they train is fascinating.
