Sometimes I feel like some of these jokes just fly over y’all’s heads.....The butt of the joke isn’t feminism or feminists: it’s the companies/celebrities/etc that use feminism to try to make a profit and stay relevant. Like, watch some of these shows and you’ll understand that it’s all just a big hypocrisy and none of them actually understand the issues put in front of them. It’s like douching companies trying to sell their products with feminism, even though their product undermines feminism and is a part of the culture that feminism tries to get rid of.

This is about virtue signaling. This is criticizing how people want to be PC on the surface but don't really truly want to change ANYTHING. They don't want to give women equal pay, and they don't want to give time and money to people who are really making a difference like the woman running a shelter. They want to put a pin on their shirt and make a dramatic speech but not do anything concrete to make the world a better place.

What makes you think it's "culture" they're mocking when they're literally mocking one of these shitty celebrity gossip tv shows?
@rashb39947 жыл бұрын
Stomedy Spot on. It puts 4th wave feminism in nutshell. They pretty much ignore the actual smart woman in the room and shame her for calling another women beautiful. They're actually patronizing beautiful women by ignoring their beauty and making up a reason for them to be smart. They male shame of course. They censor the woman with a real opinion. And then they make women look worse and weak by over emphasizing how powerful they are. So true to modern feminism it shuns femininity and masculinity and embraces stupidity. Says no to common sense or critical thought.
