Shaft view down from the motor room of a Schindler lift with 2:1 roping.
The lift is part of a group of 3 that were installed in 1997. They run on Miconic SX controllers with original Variodyn S45 drives.
800kg / 10 persons, 8 floors, 22.9 meters of travel, 1.6m/s.

@@user-oe3sd4jk6f Unknown what fixtures they had originally. Interior has been updated with Schaefer MT42 buttons and a new Schindler indicator, but the equipment in the motor room is still original from the 90s.

Das ist noch langlebige Schindler Qualität💪, ist das ein M-Series?

Absolut. Original war es vermutlich D-Tableau, könnte aber auch M gewesen sein. Die Anlagen haben jetzt Schäfer MT42 Knöpfe mit den weissen Schindler Etagenanzeigen mit roter Matrix. Was der Passagier sieht ist also nur wenige Jahre alt, aber was dahinter werkelt ist aus den 90ern.

Is it geared or gearless? Which series is this? Also I noticed that the door operator opens the door before the elevator is to a complete stop, that's pre-doors or classic leveling right? I love classic leveling! Great video as always.

It's a W163 geared machine. Levelling is intelligent as always with Miconic SX and Variodyn, Predoors as well of course. Fixtures probably were D-Series but have been replaced with Schaefer MT42.

Haha well that would theoretically work with most lift shafts - those of MRLs even have a hook anchored in the ceiling.
