i tried pen & wash drawing but I don't understand it. mine looks ugly while other people haphazard coloring looks nice. i just don't understand watercolor :D i'm more towards hyperrealism style. and my main tool is infinite painter. but i love pen and wash drawing style. one of these days.. i will understand it and master it....maybe :D

Hi knightsj, I suspect the clue in you not understanding it is in the line, ‘I’m into hyperrealism’, I’m the exact opposite, preferring a much looser style

@@SteveElliottArt you're right! you're right! you're right! that make sense. i recently tried urban sketching as well. first try was just... awful! and.. yes.. i drew ...waaaaay too much detail. it's very hard for me to switch off that mindset. i tried the loose style...but... i still think i still put way too much detail. 🤔
