Hi Shelly! You recomment preparing those tortillas in advance, and storing them in the fridge for the week right? So do we eat them cold? How would you reheat them, in a pan? or microwave?

Shelly I just adore you and your sense of humor. Also since I have been subscribed to your channel I have learned so much that I needed to know for my health as I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. But I am on the borderline and intend on learning more on eating a bit differently. Im 69, have MMD and then diagnosed a year ago. I am 4'11 and I weighed about 110 and I don't know I eat healthy maybe a little bit too much bread I really gone down that a lot but you tell me a lot of different things and ways to handle this. Questions, will apples spike your sugar? I’m on a weight loss journey and down 20 pounds so far have about 10 more to lose. Earlier this year was diagnosed with Pre diabetic, elevated blood pressure and high cholesterol. So need advice and healthy way of eating!

Depends how large and how many!! An apple is a higher fiber fruit, but I recommend according to your calories/carbs allowed. Download my menu! It will help explain in detail!!!

I love how you hate to do dishes, and are always trying to save time, money, and effort with your recipes. I am all about low effort and easy cleanup! I have one thing that i use to save the mess of using shredded cheese. Is it just me, or do other people also make a mess sprinkling it on the tortillas, getting it all over the plate/counter/cutting board, and then another mess when i place and then flip the thing in the pan?! So, i use cheese slices! Mozzerella, cheddar, whichever. Im telling ya, it was a game changer for me when i stopped using the shredded. Not only less messy, but no measuring cup to wash. I might have to break/rip it into a more matching size or shape for the tortilla, but it sure saves the mess of shredded. (Bonus - if you have teens who like to make snacks, if you stop buying shredded cheese and they are forced to use slices, you'll find a lot less shredded cheese on the counter, floor, microwave. )
