I did my budget for this month, and YIKES. I'm super grateful that I did it, because otherwise I would have majorly overspent, and that wouldn't have have hit me until it was way too late. Luckily I'm picking up extra shifts at work so I can get dumb debt paid off 😮‍💨

0:58 just a suggestion but the light blue text on a white background is a bit hard to read. Keep up the good work!

Like with most people, a simple assessment of wants vs needs would go far here…💅

Make the nails / eating out / drive thru trips treats instead of every day or every week trips. That will allow you to put more money towards the emergency fund to build it faster so that you can move past this stage, once you get that build up treat yourself then focus on the next goal. Having to record every purchase in the budget also helps me to not spend bc if I spend I have to write it down and record it

I have to say, in the beginning it can be difficult to make cuts to your budget like I suggested for this person, but once you've done it you adapt your life to the cuts you make and it becomes harder to justify going back to the way your spending was before you made the cuts. At least that's how it is for me.

I wish Google Fiber or Webpass would come to the DC area. We are under Comcast's monopoly and that keeps internet so high. Sigh...

Justine, Have you ever thought of doing talk radio. I think you have the right stuff to do it. Let me know if you are interested. I would be glad to help you help yourself. The pay would be the joy of helping. My youngest is 36 and the oldest is 51.

They don’t post their youtube handle cause then everyone would know how much they make. Most people want their income private.
