I believe the collection has since moved to a new facility in Orlando. Thanks for the videos, really enjoy them.

I'm not sure if the whole scene would've been so memorable, and such a classic for me to this day, if it wasn't for the iconic technobabble and the acting. Such a classic.
@WhiteDwarfVR45 жыл бұрын
Not surprised, I always knew Brian's Eclipse was an RS given the rear drum brakes and funky valve cover. Why the decision was made to not acquire a GSX I will never know. Should have at least started with a GS, that way they could at least throw stupid amounts of boost at it and just suffer the traction and torque steer deficiencies. What did come as a surprise is that the Integra has USF plates, meaning to me, he's a local as I live in Central Florida. Never been a huge Honda fan but that's still pretty cool.

FUN FACT: A LOT of 4 banger owners were upset by bone stock cars. I would know, I was laughed at in the early 2000's when I drove a 1998 Seville STS. Took it to the drag strip. Before the "V" stuff started. Everyone laughed. "You can't race a Cadillac." "That's an old man car." They'd rip their interior out. Remove their spare and jack. I'd race full weight, and bone stock. I didn't win every race. But, I won more than I lost. And upsetting the ricers was hilariously fun. And, I could just leave and go home after I was done. Meanwhile, the ricers had to put their cars back together and find an air compressor to fill their all season tires back up. 😅😂🤣😅😂🤣

If you were running a E120 Corolla in XRS trim. the engine with that package was the 2ZZ-GE with a 6 speed MT. Those engines were good for about 170-180 hp. It would have put you neck-n-neck with the integra. Getting more power out of it to hang with an FD RX-7, however, would have been challenging given the engine was never really taken too seriously by tuners or the after market (outside of Japan and Lotus in the UK because the used them in the Elise)

@@tycobandit depends on the gearing honestly. And the weight difference. Im not sure about the GSR but the integra Type R has super close gearing specially designed for that engine to keep it exactly in its power band in every single gear. If the GSR is similar, and the corollas is set longer for daily driving, adding in the weight differences, teg would still smoke it

Craig Liberman is like a wrestling booker, giving out the secrets disappointing a lot of fans. I thought Brian's Eclipse made at least 300 hp and did 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. The only expensive work on the cars are the paint jobs.
