FAST Ignition Review

I own a crane EI 700 series. The light on the box mounted on my fire wall does not go on and car will not start it is 10 yes old I have yellow &black to -side of coil red to + side I have a new crane coil wires plugs caps cleaned the wheel in the distributor HOW can I test the module to see if it now junk any thoughts

Do they still sell the Crane distributor with the two small dials on it, so you can pick/change your timing curve?

I actually called about that a few weeks back. They are redoing their websites and putting the instructions back with the part. Soooo much easier when you need to download something. Should be soon.

@@MuscleCarSolutions I received my EFI ignition coil for my 2018 Harley Davidson Sportster, and it's the right coil but they sent the instructions for a carbureted Harley Davidson Twin Cam lol. That being said it looks incredibly well made!

Hey guys! So I have 2 of the original Crane ignition modules; the type that eliminates points and drops right in place of them. I have them in my SBCs. Those modules are GREAT! I installed them, set the rev limiter and they have been fantastic. Never a problem. OK, last year I bought 2 new ones under the Fast name and neither of them worked. To say I was disappointed was a understatement. Have you figured out the problems with the new ones? Is it a situation of mating with some coils being the problem?? or "Made in China" the issue? ..or, you tell me......please let me know. Thanks.

@@MuscleCarSolutions I called the customer service number. Talked to a few including a tech. Don't remember their names for it was last summer. I am bringing out the cars now the weather is good and am where I was last summer: still using points. Would love to eliminate the points.

same for me, it sputters like its a million degrees advanced , fouls the plugs. i got rma # from them but haven't sent it in, i think a year has passed but i'm finally back home to send it in. hope they honor it still

Comp Cams bought Crane Cams? That's a new one on me.

Quite a long time ago. And they discontinued the brand early this year.

And ive been told there tps comes from Taiwan im in the process of installing the 1.0 kit was going to order there ignition box untill i got a ecu from them bad straight out of the box
