I've called 999 for debris numerous times over the years, or crashes where it wasn't safe to clear or stop to help as it just happened or had passed as it unfolded.... I've stopped 2 wrong way drivers and traffic from behind, stopped traffic at night, no lights motorway where car spun out taking out front and rear lights after hitting barrier, imo saved a number of serious potential collisions on these.... I've cleared debris myself once safe such as huge branches, car bumpers, exhaust and so on.... I'm on the road for a living so see a lot.....

Why does any cop needs to respond code 3 to debris?? Usually it would be code 1 or 2
@bkitteh62953 жыл бұрын
Good thing there were no cars since the cop is wearing navy blue/black at night on a very dark highway. Before you get your panties all in a twist, yes I can see that the car is light up like fireworks. The farther he gets from it, the more dangerous it is. Drivers will frantically look for something happening around the car, not realizing the officer is 50 yards in front of them in the driving lanes. Surely Minnesota can afford some kind of 🔸️reflective safety vest🔸️ for officers...

Very reckless. Even almost smacked a median by driving in oncoming traffic. Its just northmetro cops being bored like normal. They gotta do everything a bit extra
@stevengibson22513 жыл бұрын
No, he was just driving fast on an interstate, late night with very little traffic, to assist a neighboring city with a pursuit. When chase took an off ramp heading away from him and he realized that he would no longer be able to catch up to the chase. he chose to go to where the officers said the suspect wrecked and left debris in the road. Didn't really see anything reckless or unsafe.
@lolz6163 жыл бұрын
Yeah super reckless with nobody on the roadway, he almost hit a caterpillar crawling near the road.
@ryanwahlstrom75793 жыл бұрын
Lolz so driving in oncoming traffic around a blind corner is not reckless? I know the route this officer took to join the fun of a chase from a different city and it seemed pretty reckless to me. Luckily he was pulled off to retrieve a small street sign in the road. Its not like the pursuit did not already have a officer that was follwing a car so why do they need to risk the driving like that to just be another car in the pursuit? Maybe they should just ride 2 deep if they need backup on a simple pursuit.
