Zoe was sure having fun with her toys 😅😅. I love trying to propagate plants. I took 10 cutting from my vermillionaire plant and put them in soil, and 8 survived. I brought them, and the big one plant, in the house when it got cold outside, and so far, they are all still living. Thank you for the video! I enjoyed it. ❤😊😊❤

You are so right about the videos that tell you not to change your Plant water , I change mine in the shower every three days , or every day . My Peace lily , Alocasia, Andansoni love it . Giving out leaves like crazy! Robbie knows what she’s talking about!

The hubs likes to wander through the garden shop at Walmart or wherever and pick up the fallen pieces of plants and start those. Lol

I figure it's always worth a try to propagate things, especially if they need trimming anyway!

Omgosh the Emu plant is from my home state in Western Australia. Kalgoorlie is a seven hour drive from Perth. Your climate is very similar to ours in Western Australia.

For difficult to root cuttings I often then put the cup of soil with new cuttings into a cut open gallon or quart plastic bottle to make a mini greenhouse. That works most of the time. (Place this in shade or indoors til plants root)

I have a 50/50 survival rate but the ones I start in water and get roots are in the good 50/50 but the ones straight in soil not as good.

Rooting hormone helps a lot. If u have a willow tree, cut off pieces to place in water with your other new cuttings. Willow branches r a natural rooting hormone. 😊

I have taken ZZ plant leaves, cut them in just about half and potted up the top part. They grow a baby plant from each leaf. It does take some time so be patient. African Violet leaves can be propagated like that also. I wonder how many other plants you can do that to? I guess they need a leaf that is on the thick side.

Robbie...I have to tell you... I'm so mad at you right now😂 I want a mushroom plant...and there are none online for sale...and I have NEVER EVER seen on in real life...now I have fomo! 😂

Call, check their website and ask, or go to your local nurseries and ask if they can find a supplier. I just did that by emailing and they immediately responded same day, asking what size and how many. I also want the mushroom plant Rungia Klossii, and Purple Tree Collard plants. They'll know within a month and they put me on their special request list. I'll be checking now to see if the also have or can order the EMU Bush.
