0:49 Bolt did not get into the thread. Bolt went at an angle. For small holes need a positioning system in place.

TheAtomstrike sure it did get in, you can see the spindle move forward as with all the other bolts. Looks more like a bent bolt head

The spindle always seemed to jog laterally a bit at the very end. I felt like it was also positioning related but wasn't sure. Something seems off.

Very nice and all but the screw tray is not ideal for automation and what is the noise level on one of them?
@aleksandersuur9475
@aleksandersuur9475 7 жыл бұрын
Screw tray is actually a pretty good way to go and also how the screws are separated and oriented in manual workstations. You have a plastic box with small holes in the bottom. You pour screws in the box, you slosh the screws around until all the wholes are full and wipe the leftover screws in one corner or pour them out, rinse and repeat once you have picked out all the screws from the holes. You don't manually place the screws in the holes one by one. ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1y0u.IXXXXXbyXpXXq6xXFXXX2/2PCS-2-0-2-5mm-font-b-Screw-b-font-font-b-Tray-b-font-Holder.jpg

if you say so but in 99% of the time you get them messy with no boxes.
@aleksandersuur9475
@aleksandersuur9475 7 жыл бұрын
+Michael yeah you get them messy in a bag or a box, the tray is the actual way you separate them. You shake the screws inside the tray and they fall into the holes screw-head up on their own. Once in the hole, they don't shake out of it. Hey-presto screws nicely arranged in a tray, ready to pick manually or by robot. Sorry I can't find a good video on how it works, but its really simple and fast.

But can it detect cross threading?
@Georges3DPrinters
@Georges3DPrinters 4 жыл бұрын
Robots that exist to do this was possible for a while, Adding the verification of torches new but what they don't say is that human hands are still more sensitive than this robot that can detect cross threading on the super fine screws hopefully in time it will be able to

Pneumatic and electric connections are far from somewhere on the ground up to the hand. Such a shame. Why not put those close to 6th axis. What if the 6th axis should rotate more than 360 degrees? Will the cables wrap around the robot? And too big robot fur such a small envelope. Bad application :)
@andreaseeee6282
@andreaseeee6282 7 жыл бұрын
Amon Ra i have seen this system. The robot has 8 electrical pins free to use at axis 6, plus 4 air lines i believe. But 8 pins is not enough for the screwdriver. It's a universal robot, not made specifically for this application. Why should axis 6 rotate more than 360 degrees? 180 left, 180 right, you can reach every position possible.
@aleksandersuur9475
@aleksandersuur9475 7 жыл бұрын
Cable routing is always application specific, there is no generic way to do it. You figure out the robot motions and mount the cables the way it works for your specific application. Yes some robots have some pneumo and electrics coming through, but they are limited. Sometimes its only up to 4th axis, sometimes you have none at all. And there is no predicting what you need on the end effector. Sometimes you need a camera, or a torque force cell, vacuum, valves, motors, fieldbus, who knows what.
