The biggest disaster happened with me when I started trading was I became profitable first and then I knew why it was a disaster 😂. What I know after earning and loosing money is every strategy works still none can make you money unless you follow below steps: 1) Anyone can earn money all you need is your own rules and it MUST MUST MUST be followed all time. 2) Your need an edge (RR+ Win rate + Psychology to feel at ease with the process). 3) Trade only what you have planned and think of what you will lose before entering into a trade and put that SL on system and accept the loss. 4) Have clear exit strategy and DO NOT touch trade until that condition is met.

Great video Mark. I'm trying to help a long time friend learn trading and become profitable. He's 61 and nearing retirement at his job and yes, he's doing some work on it, but I just don't see the motivation and long hours of hard work that it takes. I've told him, "hey you're in the learning years where you have to buckle down and go into grind mode to learn it" and I just don't see it from him. I don't think he fully realizes you can't just spend a few hours a week and expect to ever make progress in this business especially in the learning years.

started trading 4+ years ago. I m one of those who still hasn t cracked it. Mark described me perfectly saying traders are all over the place .I learned a lot though. I stopped trading recently as I m unemployed now and I have to get back my source of income. Be more structured and diligent guys

Thanks for this video. Could I ask - outside of candlestick/ chart patterns, psychology & overall trading strategy, are there any key areas you suggest should be priority topics to learn? I do know some fundamental analysis

To make money 💰 you need to be in the 1% of people which are making profits so it really does not matter how many years will take you to make money your gaol should be trying to join the 1% of people who they are making money and stay away from the 99% which they are not making any money 😢😢 and the bad news is you might never join the 1% WINNERS 🎉🎉 so good luck to everyone 👍

yup, I guess that s true, however, if you don t try you won t know if you ll make it and it won t hurt to do so as long as you re not betting your house and your spouse on it so to speak😅

I am very new been trading for 2 months. I blew a 2K USD axcount in 3 days. I failed 2 prop firms. Almost close to failing a third. I dont know whats going on but i guess you csnt cheat your way to success. I am very good at reading market structure but when i have a winning streak i add more money in to make big wins and thats what catches me

bro stop trading live capital or prop challenges. I did loose 150$ on live accounts in my first 3months and even if you win that prop challenge, it will be by luck. so paychecks wont be consistent. I'm now 5months into trading but this past 2months i've been backtesting proving my self that i got an edge for longterm. It's helping alot
