great card... and adding the glossy accents made a great butterfly...

I would have loved it more if the pink didnt bleed, but next time i just need to make sure i use a pigment ink that doesnt react with water, then it will be fine:) Thank you so much for watching

Nice technique. All the SU colours you used are still current. I think the butterfly turning pink is a happy accident because it stands out much better now than before the glossy accents turned pink.

Oh! I wish I'd known about the Hobbycraft trimmer!!! 😊 I've just signed up for the notification for the spare blades. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas Sasha. I really need to start using my stash. I have LOTS of stamp sets that haven't been used 🙄

It is crazy the price difference! I really hope they get a big stock of new blades in soon at HC. I would love to have a nice little stash of them for when they're needed. Crack on with your stampsets! dont let them go to waste

Stunning what you said and showed about the paper trimmer. We all know we pay for the name, but thatis a lot of money. Hank you for showing your life crafting 🥰. I still did not receive the vellum from Alina 🙁, good idea to use that 🥰

I just cant believe the mark up in price with the branded one. Just crazy, it is literally the exact same one

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I think I'm going to go check out that trimmer from hobbycraft. Here's a tip I learnt to help with debulking a card and saving on paper too: when you set up your layers, before sticking them down, cut out the middle with a border of about an inch. That way all that hidden middle is hollow instead of wasted cards and you can use those for other cards. I'm still waiting to move house but I look forward to collaborating with you in the future.

Thank you for sharing your techniques. You make it so easy to follow. I struggle with layers. I have only recently started on the journey of card making but cutting them to size is one of the biggest issue for me.
@roden704 жыл бұрын
Have you ever seen the layering system Kylie Bertucci uses? She calls it love it, chop it and you can buy the layering formats for a small amount. And she keeps sending updates and you get those for free. It makes layering very easy and it helps you visualize a card lay out in an easy way.

Love the card Sasha. My paper trimmer is the same one you have but it got Hunkydory written on mine. I was going to buy the Stamping up one only because I wanted the scoring blade and that’s when I realised they were the same trimmer so I just bought the spare pack of blades which of course fit perfect, If you come across the scoring blade can you let me know, thank you 🙂
@SashaReade4 жыл бұрын
They sell them on Hobycraft. They're out of stock at the moment but it's £2.50 i believe for a blade and scoring blade pack. Are you in the UK?
