paul is one of the best anglers that i have seen in many a year. i was bought up on the Hampshire Avon and Dorset Stour in the 60s and 70s. The art of trotting is rear today. Dave Swallow taught me how to trot a river. Paul explains how he does it and how he does it. just a joy to watch.

I think its brilliant the way cadence market their brand with these quality videos. Been watching James Robins with Shakespeare for years and to be honest I'm still using the superteam rods and reels, but if I update I will be looking at cadence just because of the videos. Keep it up guys

Great video fellas, by the way Paul 'Tha needs a new hoodie pal' lol, great tip for me was the simple one of the way you hooked double caster, went yesterday using double caster and even I didn't think the bait presentation was right let alone the fish still caught but think I could have caught more if the double had looked more like yours - cheers for the tip.

Yeah behind ravensthorpe train station is meant to hold some good bream, nice and deep aswell. The scout hill stretch aswell, near recycling centre. Good for roach and bream

How do you plumb the depth on the stick float?

I plumb the depth by attaching a heavy plummet, cast across and downstream then quickly draw the float back and release, (keep drawing back and releasing until you’ve covered the swim) when the plummet hits the bottom the float will follow and as the float approaches the plummet it will rise in the water and providing your over depth it will appear briefly before disappearing (if it doesn’t appear then you’re set to shallow) it’s a simple case of trying to judge how much to alter your float until it just shows then disappears as the float arches over the plummet! Hope this helps, I’ll try and remember to demonstrate when we fish the stick on a future video👍

Hi Christopher, your feedback is always accepted. However, for various reasons we won't be 'killing' music on the videos. Firstly, it's almost impossible to record background/ambient noise which is just pleasant natural sounds. There are always vehicles, power tools etc! The music adds mood too. Music also covers over times when the angler talks unexpectedly or swears even! Plus other reasons too, so purposefully chosen music will always play a role in video making. Cheers.
