Create a Team, it can be a 1 person team. (Top left of screen)

You will need to move old projects into the team to use the feature, it is only available to teams.

Hi Justin great video as always, thanks for highlighting this new feature.I know we always had mcmaster carr but its a little long winded this appears to be much slicker thanks again good job
@derekkonigsberg204710 ай бұрын
What I'm really curious about, is if there's a way to use this feature to add fasteners that aren't already in the library they provided. At this point I often have a list of parts from the McMaster-Carr catalog that I want to use, and can't always find a direct match in the new fasteners library. I know I can still add them the old fashioned way, but its extremely tedious.

It also groups the fastners in their own group, nice.

looks like a great new feature, however most every thing I build is welded together😀

This is great yet there is no BSPT thread to pick in thread function. And this could solve so many problems I have :D
@Clover50110 ай бұрын
How come when I try to 3D print the fasteners, it smooths out the thread so the screw is flat? Are there any fixes when converting Fasteners to STL files in fusion?

Make sure that the bolt is “Modeled” if not it wont work. Its just a drawing without modeling it

Great feature. Is it possible to create a custom bolt, we frequently have to use B A sized fasteners. Thanks for the tips.''

Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about the fasteners in the comments below! :)

Been working on learning fusion something ive not seen anywhere was the ability to group components for turning on and off visuals when your needing to work inside something. Been designing a garage and turning on or off all the studs in a wall individually is really frustrating. Have i missed something?
@dannyb363810 ай бұрын
You could add all of the components into a selection set and toggle the visibility of them there. I use that for doing before and after models where some items stay and others are replaced with something else.
@preston941210 ай бұрын
@dannyb3638 ill have to look into that

this is really cool and all but im using fusion360 in personal mode and says i can't use the insert fasteners unless i switch to fusion team.

Didn't realize this - I didn't see anything in their announcement post - that is unfortunate

@@TheFusionEssentials @cyberstar251 I had the same problem but it's easy to create a team for yourself; I Forget the details but oogle "Fusion 360 how to move a personal project to team". That still didn't work for me because even though it said I was up to date, I was not. Google "how to repair Fusion 360", which will bring you up to date.

Click your username in the top left corner. Choose create or join team. Create a team with only you in it. Open your list of editable documents and choose the one you want to open. The feature should become accessible then.
